Notre-Dame de la Garde (Our Lady of the Guard), in French for Marseille’s citizens “la bonne mère” (the good (holy) mother), is a Catholic basilica in Marseille, France, and the city's best-known symbol. The site of a popular Assumption Day pilgrimage, it was the most visited site in Marseille. This is the wall with the tree on it, from two different angles. There's a sleeping face resting on its side in the branches. We're toying with the idea of having a body attached to the head, weaving itself through the branches, down to the ground. If you look at the photo on the left, the lowest branch isn't long enough to connect to the trunk of the tree, and we left it like that in case there'll be a body filling the gap, but it's not definite yet.
