Cards against humanity always getting things twisted

This is a B&W photo of a stacked pile of old car tires that I photographed behind a local garage. The cold temperatures froze the rain water pooled inside one of them.

Star trails at the swamp in Wellston, Michigan.

Taken during blue hour with a Fujifilm X-T5, 8mm f/3.5 lens, this isolated storm put on a good lightning show. I stacked 5x6s frames and lightened in Photoshop. The star trail above the thunderstorm reveals the 5 frames.

Sea stacks along the Redwood coast north of Ft. Bragg, CA showed well in the morning light on this day in October, 2024.

Bread stacked on roast beef on emmantal cheese on bread, with butter and mustard layered in-between. And very nice it was too!

I think this was taken about half an hour after sunset, just before the pink colours "evaporated".

Not been active for a while but hoping to get out more and start doing some of the photo challenges again and also harass my ponies with my camera lol

The top of the stack of Mitchell Station is seen on the right. In the distance on the left is the stack of the Elrama Power Plant, scheduled to be demolished later this year.

SWELL Sculpture Festival. 'Stacked Chairs' by Alexander Piperides (Qld)

Stacked Chairs is an assembly of found chairs, portraying a column like structure. Although each chair has its own individual memory and function, they have become dependent on one another; the failure of one chair could result in the failure of the whole system. I would like to think of this similar to our current lives; where we are all at some stage or another, in the midst of various responsibilities, whether intentional or not. (the artist)

An ancient hay stacker was abandoned years ago along the entrance road to Bear Lake National Wildlife Refuge in Idaho. Hay fields around the refuge provide food and nesting areas for ibis, sandhill cranes, and waterfowl

Taken 9:21-9:29PM, using a Fujifilm X-T5, 16-55mm f/2.8 lens @ f/8 @ 55mm iso 160, 30 sec exp, I stacked 13 images over a 8 minute period and lightened in Photoshop.

Despite developing rain, fireworks were in full swing.

Heavy rains began ~9:30PM. Received nearly half an inch during the next hour.

Sea stacks and rocks along the coast near Crescent City. A setting sun gives the warm glow and a telephoto lens the apparent compression.

This lightning composite occurred as the last of twilight and moon were visible. 8 raw frames were stacked and lightened in Photoshop. This developing thunderstorm remained nearly stationary for several minutes allowing for this concentration of cloud to ground strikes. I regret not having my Fujifilm camera with a longer lens on this spot.

Using a video clip of 9.5 minutes long from a Fujifilm X-T5, 16-55mm f/2.8 lens @ f/5.6 & 55mm, I screen saved the best lightning bolts that failed to reach the ground. There are about 2 dozen frames that were stacked and lightened in Photoshop. Note fireworks on the horizon.

Because these strokes never grounded, their brightness was not blown out. I then took the grounded lightning and stacked 8 images to produce: www.flickr.com/photos/cloud_spirit/54632788645.

Long exposure taken on a beautiful evening on the Sussex coast in Seaford.

Monopoly money. Wish it was real!

We had made a stop alongside Loch Shin where we had finally found calm water and some stunning reflections. In the 2-3 minutes it took to grab the gear the breeze was up and the reflections were gone. Mindful of this, when we arrived at a still Loch Stack, I raced across the marshy shore to capture not only a near perfect reflection but also some lovely fleeting light on Arkle and the foreground reeds. I managed just 3 exposures before the breeze once again returned, the water rippled and this was to be the last reflection we would capture that afternoon.

Stacked up – The immense Elegug Stacks catching the last of the day's sunlight before the encroaching shadows envelope the coast..

Also known as Stack Rocks, it's really hard to get an impression of the scale of these two dramatic carboniferous limestone sea pillars from the cliff edge, even though they are some 150 feet high. Located on the on the dramatic and remote south west tip of Wales, access is only possible at certain times across the MOD Castlemartin military range.

The long exposure really drew out the colours of this breathtaking coastal scene.
