My second attempt at focus stacking, this time using 5 exposures of circa 10 - 15 seconds

River Ice on the edge of the Hudson River. The Hudson is a tidal River, and thus lends itself to such grand fluctuation , The coast Guard mans an Ice cutter daily to keep a channel open , which add to these natural ice stacks! Ice on the River is one of my favorite things to photograph , it is always changing and amazingly beautiful...despite the cold! Thanks for your visit and comment

The iconic green wooden houses of the Zaan region were the fount of inspiration for the designers of the Inntel Hotel (WAM architecten, Delft). The structure is a lively stacking of various examples of these traditional houses, ranging from a notary’s residence to a worker’s cottage. ‘The Blue House’ at the top corner has been inspired by the work Claude Monet painted at Zaandam in 1871.

I due suggestivi faraglioni chiamati Reynisdrangar, emergono dal mare. Secondo la leggenda sono due troll che, perdendo la cognizione del tempo, furono sorpresi dalla luce del sole mentre erano intenti a rubare una nave.

The two suggestive sea stacks called Reynisdrangar emerge from the sea. According to legend, they are two trolls who, losing track of time, were surprised by the sunlight while they were intent on stealing a ship.
