“I am a dreamer. I know so little of real life that I just can’t help re-living such moments as these in my dreams, for such moments are something I have very rarely experienced." - Fyodor Dostoyevsky

Reality doesn't impress me. I only believe in intoxication, in ecstasy, and when ordinary life shackles me, I escape, one way or another. No more walls.”

Waiting for the ferry after work and praying that the rain held off because I forgot my umbrella, I noticed the lone sailboat briskly making it's way to dock. It looked like it was trying to outrun the rain also, but it was right under a large, imposing cloud. #stackablesapp

Jan. 19, 2021: Textured image from a week ago I did not post. The original flower image was taken with a Lensbaby at Banyon Park in Newbury Park, California. The texture is from the weathered preset in the Stackables app. The border is from the burlap border in the PhotoToaster app. #newburypark #banyonpark

We've been living in our trailer in South Dallas now for 3-months. Not sure how many months to go, but I'll keep busy taking images of things I see above the trailers and around the trailer park. We're living in the Good Luck Modern RV park. It's very, very poor and old. Eventually we'll end up back in Utah. :o)
Taken with iPad Air default camera and iPhone4s Hipstamatic camera (Tinto1776 lens and Float film.

This is on of my so called 'conceptual edits', influenced by the harsh power of addiction and what it does to people. Others stories and my own experiences. Either you are the addict, or standing next one, the same self-destructing behavior is to find. You keep lying to yourself and each other, with the same promises "Tomorrow I will quit this! Tomorrow!".
Constantly split between Keep and Eat... and you try to go for both!

March 1, 2016: Pioneertown 2013. Another #retro image using #photogene #snapseed #distressedfx #stackablesapp and #lomob . In photogene lightened image with curve. In Snapseed used lans blur 30, vintage style #11 35. In distressed FX used vanilla 90%. In Stackables used pale pond 50% in overlay mode. In LoMod used vintage instant.
This was taken with my #motorolaX & edited on my #iPad with #snapseed then #picturesque to enhance textures then with #distressedfx and finally with #stackablesapp for the tone and overall feel.
Chapter 2: Pointing Is Like Shooting - Who are you to point your finger? Can anyone say for certain that they will react or behave better? Blame ... That's all we do. No one respects themselves enough these days to be accountable. He started it; she started it; it's your fault, and yours' and yours'. How is anything resolved that way?
