My photo. Someone stacked these chairs in this odd spot and I liked the the design they made. Cropped from a larger shot and sharpened. PhotoPlus X4.

Product development intensified. During the 1960s

BT began series production of walkie trucks and

stackers. The expanding product offering was

reflected in sales figures, with exports of BT’s own

products rising to 50 percent. During the decade

the first BT reach trucks were manufactured.

To further strengthen customer service, BT

created its own leasing and rental operations.

Within a short time BT signed several contracts that

established vital, long-term relationships. BT was

a forerunner in this respect and has continued to

develop this successful concept ever since.

During the 1960s BT collaborated with Saab

to produce aircraft hydraulics. The aircraft manufacturer’s

stringent requirements were proof

of the high quality level BT was able to deliver.

The cooperation had a major impact on the

development

of production technology and quality

awareness at BT.

Global expansion continued. BT began building

an international sales and service organization in

several European countries, including Benelux,

Denmark, United Kingdom and Germany.

South Stack is famous as the location of one of Wales' most spectacular lighthouses, South Stack Lighthouse. It has a height of 41 metres (135 feet). It has a maximum area of 7 acres.

Until 1828 when an iron suspension bridge was built, the only means of crossing the deep water channel on to the island was in a basket which was suspended on a hemp cable. The suspension bridge was replaced in 1964, but by 1983 the bridge had to be closed to the public, due to safety reasons. A new aluminium bridge was built and the lighthouse was reopened for public visits in 1997. Thousands of people flock to the lighthouse every year, thanks to the continued public transport service from Holyhead's town centre.

There are over 400 stone steps down to the footbridge (and not, as local legend suggests, 365), and the descent and ascent provide an opportunity to see some of the 4,000 nesting birds that line the cliffs during the breeding season. The cliffs are part of the RSPB South Stack Cliffs bird reserve, based at Elin's Tower.

The Anglesey Coastal Path passes South Stack, as does the Cybi Circular Walk. The latter has long and short variants; the short walk is 4 miles long and takes around two hours to complete. Travelling from the Breakwater Country Park, other sites along the way are the North Stack Fog Signal station, Caer y Tŵr, Holyhead Mountain and Tŷ Mawr Hut Circles.

Stacking rings made from sterling silver, etched copper, and etched brass. I've never made or worn stacking rings, they are very comfortable. I made one that acts as a spacer between the etched elements, so they don't get all jumbled together.
