Inspired by Jennifer McGuire, the background stamp from IO was stamped with Versamark ink and coated with Perfect Pearls. I then stamped a musical stamp in a dark blue. I cut the Nadine Snowflake from Simon on a shiny cardstock, and mounted the blue card on another piece. I hate embossed the sentiment from SSS holiday sentiments.

I made this (and 2 others) for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge a few weeks ago. I just forgot to share them here. I used a Love die by Impression Obsession. For all the details, please visit my blog. www.happyinkdesigns.wordpress.com

It's been a circles kind of week😊. I got this Little Cat Agenda stamp set from @mamaelephant a while back and I knew I wanted the kitties to be peeking out from a window or frame. Found out they fit perfectly within the Circles Background die from @elizabethcraftdesigns. Simple Copic coloring and Nuvo drops made for a simple, fast card. Since the kitties all seem to be doing some activity, I made up my own sentiment for the inside of the card using @heroarts Brushstroke Alphabet. And I also got ideas for two more cards with this die (love it when that happens) which I'll share soon. I'm also entering this card in the #ssswchallenge.

Directly inspired by Yana, I decided to try pencil coloring. I own quite a collection of Prismacolor pencils, but had never tried this technique. I embossed the stamp with Judikins Egyptian Gold and colored with yellow and orange pencils. The hugs die from Simon Says Stamps was triple embossed with the same powder and mounted it on an orange card base. Thanks for the inspiration Yana!

Alcohol inks were used to create the base. I then used an older Tim Holtz Stamp with Archival ink for the grain and the sentiment (which was cut from a larger background).

I cut them apple using my Cricut so I could pop up the card base. The background was stamped with a number stamp from my stash. I used Candy Apple oxide inks to color the area below the apple as well as the edges to match. The card is mounted on a foam piece for dimension.

Tim Holtz Classic #1 set was used to stamp the pears. I watercolored them using the Arteza brushes, popped up one pear with foam tape. I used a paper from my stash for the background and stamped the sentiment from a Holtz set. Green Nuevo dots completed the card.

I used Tim Holtz's large globe die to cut the land and the stand with gold cardstock. The gold land pieces were mounted on a blue smooshed watercolor paper. The entire globe was mounted on a blue cardstock. Hero Arts Peace was cut from the same cardstock and mounted over the globe. The additional sentiment was gold embossed on a smooshed background. The dove was gold embossed at the end.

Will you be my valentine?

The tree from Penny Black was embossed on watercolor paper. I watercolored the background in an ombré style and filled in the leaves. The sentiment is from SSS. I colored the berries with alcohol ink and covered them with Nuvo glaze.

I used Tim Holtz cupcake and die set. I stamped the image with Versafine on Canson watercolor paper. I used Zig watercolor brushes to color the image. I used the frosting Die to cut the frosting. I make the shaker holder using the fuse tool and various sequins and glitter. Clear Nuevo gives the flame a sparkle.

Embossing paste was added to red cardstock and covered in gold glitter. Merry was embossed using SSS sentiment. The sentiment was cut and lined with gold marker and attached with foam piece for dimension.

The Altenew Leaf Canopy Stamp was stamped and embossed with Judikins Metallic Bronze powder. I colored the leaves with Twinking water paints. Thankful from IO was cut with kraft cardstock, colored with Twinkling Water. I added gold sprinkles using gold paint. I mounted the leafs on a Rustic Linen base embossed in Metallic green.

I stamped Thankful from Simon Says. Multiple times in Simon Says Fog ink using the Misti. I cut the Thankful and stacked them. They are painted with multiple colors, and clear embossed it. I cut the outline from the base mounted on a grey cardbase. Rainbow Nuvo drops added bling.

Will you be my valentine?

The cube stencil can be used to create different backgrounds. Nuevo drops in coordinating colors add an additional pop.

I used a Simon Says floral stamp and colored both images with colored pencils. I die cut the flowers and mounted them on a gate fold grey cardstock. Thinking of you from Altenew was die cut twice and attached in the center of the card.

I used TimHolz tissue wrap Terminology for the background, blended antique linen Distress. Hero arts RedRoyal provided the color for the stamp, card edges and the clock stencil (Holtz).
