That cute rainbow in the #sss September card kit was begging to be included in #thedailymarker30day challenge, so I did simple coloring with Zig markers and then did a ton of stamping (thank goodness for stamp positioners). The birthday candle in this set is adorable. I'm entering this card in both #sss Monday and Flickr challenges as well. 🌈🌈🌈

Stenciling is the theme for all three of @simonsaysstamp challenges, so I made this quick card to join in the fun! I inked Distress Oxide inks through the Playful Circles stencil (this is a 3x3 mini stencil, so I moved it around to cover the panel) then stamped a few striped circles and triangles from the Birthday Bits stamp set in white ink on Desert Storm cardstock. I ink blended the same colors, then die cut the Painted Hello die and added a strip of parchment vellum. Have a great weekend!

As soon as I saw the striped heart stamp in #sss September 2017 kit I thought "ombré " for some reason. So I stamped a few hearts to practice creating the ombré effect with different Tombow markers and varying amounts of water. I had a design in mind and intended to cut out the hearts but when I was finished I was surprised to see that I had aligned them almost perfectly (I didn't use a stamp positioner). So I took it as a sign that my practice piece was supposed to be a card! I'm entering it in the #sssflickrchallenge, #sssmchallenge, and #thedailymarker30day.

Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge blog (www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge/) challenge is monochrome. I decided to test out my Ben Oliver color burst powder on the leaf. I was worried it would be too bright for what I wanted, but it turned out perfectly. I sprinkled red and yellow powder over the embossed leaf image from Simon Says Stamp on brown paper and sprayed it with water and copper colored perfect pearls to get a beautiful shiny leaf.

Hi, all! I'm sharing a card I made for @simonsaysstamp Flickr and Monday challenges (theme: stencil it). I used @tonicstudios Nuvo Glimmer Paste in Silver Gem through Simon's Oval of Flowers stencil, then surrounded it with flowers from Everything Together stamp set and Heart die, also from Simon.

I stamped a Stampendous music stamp in Archival Black on a tag. I blended Frayed Burlap on top and used a Green Distress crayon on the edges and smoothed it in. The sled is a Memory Box die cut from watercolor paper and embossed with the new Holtz 3D embossing folder. The trees are from the Tim Holtz Woodland Trees Die with Snow Marker added. The boys are from the Christmas Found Portraits.

Another fun Mermaid card using the Mermaid tail set from Ellen Hutson. I have submitted this for the for #sssmchallenge, summer fun, who wouldn't want to be a Mermaid!
Entering SSS Monday Challenge with this one. I made a background with Distress Ink Mermaid Lagoon and Rusty Hinge. Used a circle stencil where I smushed the same inks on it, sprayed with water and layed my panel over it to "stamp" the lines on the stencil. Heat embossed the butterfly, from Hero Arts, with an embossing powder l don't understand cause it doesn't repell like normal embossing powders. It's from Ranger and it's called Frosted Crystal. But it's fine, makes a nice effect 😊 Added Rusty Hinge around the butterfly and sentiment strip. The strip is from Taylored Expressions.
I finally found time to play with Ellen Hutson's Mermaid tail and Heart die, now they have released another Mermaid set that I must have. This card has been submitted or #sssmchallenge, summer fun, because it would be so fun to be a Mermaid.

Tim Holtz’s Old Jalopy was altered to become a truck. The watercolor paper image was smooshed with Fired Brick and Festive Berries. The decorations were colored with Hickory Smoke and Black Soot. The trees came from the Sizzix Holiday Joy die, colored with Forest Moss Distress Ink and accented with the snow marker. The background is cardstock with modeling paste and white diamond embossing powder.
The background is smooshed Distress Oxides cut with a Spellbinders die and mounted on white cardbase. Awesome from Neat and Tangled was cut from the smooshed background. The rest of the sentiment was stamped and embossed.
Altenew’s Spring Daisy Set was used with a variety of colors. I used the rock and roll technique on the flowers. The base is mounted on a Lawn Fawn base which was also used for the Altenew Thanks Die. I stacked 2 additional levels of cardstock and outlined the sentiment with a black sharpie to make it pop.
The background is technically recycled as I found it in a bin of extras! I used a piece of corrugated cardboard, and ran a brown distressed pad on top, added the tag and assembled the background. The world and sentiment are both from a Tim Holtz Set, popped up with foam tape for dimension!
The Hero Arts background was embossed with clear embossing powder and ombré watercolored. A Simon Says Stamp Hugs Die was used to cut the word that was outlined and elevated with foam. after assembling the card, I added some Honey Bee bling.

The SSS challenge this week is transportation. I found this fun vintage shoe with wheels in my stash (Paper Doll Parts). The background is Distress and oxides mixed squeezed lemonade, fossilized amber, ripe persimmon and mustard seed.
The stamps and stencil are from a Hero Arts monthly kit. I used the stencil to emboss the rain. I blended Distress inks on top to highlight the rain. The girl and the houses are colored with alcohol ink. The figures have 3 layers of cardstock for dimension. I mounted on Lawn Fawn rainbow paper.
I used Washi tape from Pinkfresh to embellish the top and bottom of an A2 card. I embossed images from A Beautiful Day and Paper Trey Ink in gold and watercolored them with Gansai Tambi. Hugs was cut from metallic cardstock.
I used Paper Smooches Fun & Flirty stamp set; Paper Smooches Balloons die; Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder; Hero Arts Shadow Ink (Red Royal).

The Holtz Fresh Brewed Blueprint on Canson watercolor paper was the base. Watercolored withArteza brushes. Die Cuts from Sugar Pea. I used one of Tim Holtz stencils with tea time distressed ink for the base.
I used the Tim Holtz globe die on watercolor paper and colored the land and sea. A Paris map from Tim Holtz was used on the background, and colored edges with Vintage photo ink added. The houses from Lawn Fawn were cut on Cougar paper and colored with alcohol ink. The sentiment is from Sunny Studios stamped and die cut.
Tim Holtz’s Skeleton Leaf Die was embossed on-a kraft background and cut from an alcohol ink panel. I cut the Altenew Thanks from the alcohol ink panel.
I stamped one of the branches from Christmas Classic set to cover the tag background and blended Frayed Burlap Distress in on top. The Christmas die was cut 3 times and glued together. The wishes is a Pink and Main die cut with green and kraft stock. A candy cane striped twine finishes the top.
I combined two of the little tags I've been coloring for #thedailymarker30day with a glitter heart, an embossed background and a sentiment die to make this Love/Heart card that I'll be entering in @simonsaysstamp Monday and Wednesday challenges. Embossing folder and word die from @annagriffininc, images from @crafterscompus, heart die from @heroarts.

I thought this would be a fun card to share on a Friday. The stamps/matching dies are from @heroarts. I made the background using Distress Oxide inks on Bristol cardstock, then splattered it with Picket Fence Distress Paint. I'm entering this card in both the Monday and Wednesday challenges from @simonsaysstamp (funny how that worked out!). Happy Friday!

Simon says stamp Monday Challenge for this week is All Creatures Great and Small (www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge/?p=10483) I created this card using the Happy Pawlidays stamp set from My Favorite Things.
I smooshed the background using Distress inks in rainbow hues. The sentiment is from the Penny Black Artful set in white, covered in black. The center piece is mounted on a rainbow plaid from Lawn Fawn.
The background is Versamark with an IO Snowflake background stamp on dark cardstock with white perfect pearls as demonstrate by Jennifer McGuire. The sentiment is from Simon Says, embossed in Judikins White Diamond powder. The Snowflake is cut twice and layered.
Inspired by Jennifer McGuire, I created this shadow box card. The galaxy is done with Ganzi Tambi watercolors and sprinkled with picket fence distress paint. Lawn Fawn Wish upon a Star provided the bunnies. Glitter Flakes were glued on the snow bank. The front has Judikins white diamond embossing powder for the sentiment Wish Upon a Star with various constellations.
