This was created for the SSS Flickrchallenge#74, Stunning Stencils. The background was a discarded experiment, but I decided to use the swirls and dots stencil with glass bead paste, giving it a cool texture. I then cut the single roses dies out of plain white. All products from Simon Says Stamps

I used the Best Mom Ever stamp set (Simon Says Stamp) with white embossing powder and added color with watercolor pencils and a water brush, enamel dots for embellishments. I love how the colors really stand out on the kraft card base.

My favorite technique right now is stamping and embossing images in white on watercolor paper and then adding color with Distress inks. I just love how the white pops and this makes the image shine. The butterflies are from Clearly Besotted and the die cut word sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp using a silver glitter paper.

For my card I did some watercolor panels and die cut the SSS Hibiscus Bloom die. The sentiment strip is a reverse black strip that I applied gold foil to. The Hugs die is from Birch Press design. ⠀

This card was made for the SSS flickr challenge 24, SSSflickrchallenge#24. We were to use our favorite technique. Mine is to use Distress inks to build a background. Distress inks are so versatile, the results are endless. I used SSS Tiny Tags and Hexagon Pattern Circle dies, Circle of Friends stamp set. Various Distress inks, stickles and Twinery twine.

The SSS Wednesday Challenge this week is about using something other than a rectangle or a square. So I ventured into tags. Used my favorite Large Tag die by SSS for the base, so this also fits into the SSSFlickrChallenge#23. And may I just put in a plug here to the designers at SSS - I would love a stamp set to go with these tags!!! A stitched border... "to:" and "from:" and various accessories for different themes. Just sayin' :)

The Christmas color scheme fits perfectly into the MFT Complementary lesson over at their 2nd session of summer school, as well. Who ever thought summer school could be fun!?

I used the decorated cakes and the fancy cake die sets along with the layered confetti stencil, all from #simonsaysstamp. As much as I love to watercolour, I also love die cutting. They definitely make for quick cards.

Hello, everyone. Approaching of the New Year motivates me to the changes, which are unavoidable . I decided to myself that changes are necessary and I want to make more simple cards. For the sssflickrchallenge#103 BIRTHDAY BASH I used Spring Flowers and Happy and Smile stamp sets from Simon Says Stamp

I love colouring background stamps and the ‘Pretty Peonies’ from SSS was so much fun to colour too. I made a twofer (two cards from one background, both quite alike, yet look different). For the sentiment, I used the tiny friend die and an itty bitty thank you from the tiny words stamp set - both from SSS.

All that purple and gold is just what reminds me of fall.

Croc die and the sun stamp are from previous releases. The paper was in the June card kit. and the waves die is from Lawn Fawn. The greeting is from an older set from Hero Arts. Made for the SSSflickrchallenge#100.

A beautiful rainbow colored background using water colored pencils.

Stamps are a mix from Simon Says Stamps. I have used stamps from the "Be Sentiments" and "Happy" sets.

Another card using the Lotus Blossom stamp set from Honey Bee Stamps. I used some peerless watercolours to do a rainbow coloured wash across the masked images.

In the end I added a small Thank You sentiment from the “Bouquet of Thanks” set from SSS.

Sharing a card using the sentiment set, Handwritten Love, from #simonsaystamp newest release, Friends. I've paired this sentiment with last years, Roses For You set. Roses and leaves are watercolored. The sentiment is embossed using antiqued gold embossing powder. I added a little wink of stella as well. This card is entered into the SSSFlickrChallenge#86

Made this one layer card for SSS flickr challenge #36. Painted the background in watercolour and once dried, stamped the SSS set One With Nature. Added some sentiment from SSS Cups and Succulents in between the images.

For the SSSflickrchallenge#10. Lots of dots on this patterned paper! Love the succulents set from SSS. One of my favs!

Go 4th! I made a quick 4th of July card to join in @simonsaysstamp Monday and Flickr challenges (themes are red, white and blue and anything goes, respectively). The kitty stamp (I masked off his scarf since he's from a holiday stamp set) and fireworks mini-stencil are from Simon, the sparkler and alphabet (I made up the sentiment) are from @heroarts. The patterned paper is from an older Simon card kit. I used Simon and @wowembossing powders for the fireworks. Happy Birthday, America!
