This time with the Bronica.
Playing around with scanning at different settings. Tried it at 6400 DPI, but couldn't tell much difference in image quality over 3200 DPI.
Could tell difference in focus between using T-locks and anti-newton ring glass from betterscanning.com.
Still fighting horrible dust problem. Need to get a good air purifier.
Also seem to have scratched negative during wipe process. Squeegee was scrupulously cleaned before wipe, but something must have got in there. Damn.

Tribute to Bob Marley. In the seventies the most famous musical pieces of Bob Marley were the background to my adolescence, in fact they were continuously proposed on the radio and in the jukebox, so many memories of my youth are inextricably linked to his reggae music. The pictorial effect was obtained using a small screen printing squeegee like a palette knife to paint and pouring more colors on the frame; in particular the colors, in a chiaroscuro function, were used to emphasize the subject. Slightly misregistered prints, small smudges and uneven ink deposits are purely intentional. For the work 4 screen printing frames were used.

Monterey Bay Aquarium, More details on Wcities.com. This is one of the best designed aquariums going. A unique feature is the two-story tank, home to a kelp forest in which swim sunfish, sharks, and the occasional diver tasked with squeegeeing the algae off the tank walls. Sand dabs are displayed in shelf-like tanks ideally suited to the flat fish, and a school of sardines swim in an endless circle in their cylindrical tank home. If you want to interact with some aquatic dwellers, you're invited to pet the bat rays (oddly velvet-like). The jellyfish display shows that they are like something from another planet.

Had a bit of fun and though I couldn't get 'em pin sharp we got some nice images.
Didn't half show up how filthy my lens and sensor are when doing these. Time to get the squeegee out!

Cozy but efficient. Note how the shower stall is just a separation on the floor. This seems to be common here; the shower was added almost as an afterthought. One place I stayed at years ago, the shower was just a spigot high up on the wall in the laundry room with no distinction of the space one uses to shower. I had to use a large squeegee when I was done to "mop up" the shower when I was done. Here, the drain is sloped, so this is not a problem.

Developer: HC-110 1:160 45 minutes semistand
It's difficult to control the contrast of this film, but semistand in HC-110 seems to do a good job. The emulsion is very soft when wet - note the vertical scratches I put on the film when squeegeeing it.
