Poppy's squeaky toy monkey enjoys watching the sunrise through our very grubby patio doors, which created some nice bokeh---a good excuse not to wash them :D
It's no surprise that monkey is Poppy's favourite toy, because first thing every morning he hides somewhere, with some chicken, and Poppy has to find him. This particular morning he was hiding in one of the kitchen cupboards :D
This morning game entertains us as much as it does Poppy :D
This has to be one og Honey's favourite toys. She has had it for as long as we've had her and it's still intact and squeaking.

April 11th was #happypetday according to social media, so I snapped this.
I was cleaning and purging when I came across some of Mr. Morris's old toys that I hadn't had the heart to toss.
Charlie picked this one and did this.

Was wondering what I was going to take for my photo for today when Rufus stood on his toy. It came with him when he joined us.
It's got a squeak and at first we both thought it was Izzy mewing when we heard it. I still look to see if she's OK!

Not much to say, except we are encased in ice. It's not apocalyptic like it'd been in some states, but were I to sleep outside tonight, I could probably cryogenically freeze myself so that I could awaken in the future. Of course, it'd thaw like, in eight or twelve hours, and then I'd just be confused and waterlogged.
Betty decided to spice up her life with a bit of Tabasco for her carnitas taco's she ordered. Hmmm I sure hope little Porgy doesn't understand Spanish!
I love this bear, and all the knockoffs and variants. Ive had a lucky year with thrift stores and flea markets and 2 ebay purchases.

Have altered things around as baby grows... the Care Bears will forever watch over he however, I have added a few new squeaky toys... was so excited to have come across an Australian made Squeaky Bear, recently -so difficult to find these days! The Carnival Prize Bear who can stand on his own and is positioned on the grey drawers was such a awesome find! There's more Pinkytoast fun in plush form on the little milking stool and the vintage clown picture... oh, I just adore this artist and was so lucky that 4 more smaller sized and matching in the series came via Nicole (Angel-Lily) here in Australia. We still use the grey drawers for Denham's nappies and the like.
Hoping so much that all my dear Flickr friends from around the world have found love, peace and joy this Christmas... that the simple things in life have helped to slow down the fast-paced world that we live in, today! That the magic has been felt from the smiles of others and the gift of giving... to be with family is so special and nothing else matters as much! Oh, and wishing all the fur babies that we have in our keep some extra loving moments and lots of yummy treats... and to those that have grown angel wings, that are missed terribly, to know, that they are always in our hearts forever.
I got a new shelf with room for everyone! It looks much less cluttered than when they where all on top of my wardrobe. and now everyone fits! now they are very high so i only dust up there once a week :(

Here is the pink bear I got in a lot of squeaks all for $50.
Im so happy to have it on my shelf,
It took nearly a month for pigeon to grow tired of it and let me put it away.
I heard some squeaky cries for help in the backyard. The grass has really grown out of control and these little guys got lost.
Squeeze this little guys and makes lots of noise!!

I was really lucky to meet a woman who has collected Squeak toys for 25 years!! She has recently decided to sell of her collection. I was the lucky one to be able to buy some treasures from her. This catalog is probably my favorite thing from today, but there are many great things I got!

Wally is just about back to 100%. This is him playing tug-of-war. He just loves squeaky toys, so we brought him one to play with during our visit today. His heart rate is back to normal and there's a great chance he'll get to come home tomorrow. The doctor will conduct one final blood test to make sure he gets the OK to go home. We truly appreciate all the warm thoughts, well wishes and prayers! We can't even thank you all enough. Our hearts are full of gratitude. <3
