By the way, I like the tableware from Villeroy & Boch - Manufacture Rock as a background for food photos, because of the diffuse reflection and the structure.
This abstract composite design is derived from nature. A painterly rendering adds texture and dimension to the mysterious chalky, crayon-like colorful lines. I enjoy these colors which are simultaneously bright and smudgy and give the feel of rich oil pastels.

This was created on the Deep Dream Generator website using two of my abstract images.
The base image was an abstract I created with Photoshop and Topaz, with various squares in mostly red, yellow, green, and black.
I created the style image in Uzu, then Percolator, both iPad apps. The style image created most of the image's texture.
After downloading my DDG image, I cloned parts of it in Photoshop to balance the colors and composition and added a thin border in lighter tones.
This picture was made during an encounter of Flickr Florianópolis Group, almost three weeks ago... I've had almost no time for photography.

Times Square is a major commercial intersection in the borough of Manhattan in New York City, at the junction of Broadway and Seventh Avenue and stretching from West 42nd to West 47th Streets. The extended Times Square area, also called the Theatre District, consists of the blocks between Sixth and Eighth Avenues from east to west, and West 40th and West 53rd Streets from south to north, making up the western part of the commercial area of Midtown Manhattan.
Formerly named Longacre Square, Times Square was renamed in April 1904 after the New York Times moved its headquarters to the newly built Times Building, which is now called One Times Square and is the site of the annual ball drop on New Years Eve. Times Square, nicknamed "The Crossroads of the World" and "The Great White Way", has achieved the status of an iconic world landmark and is a symbol of New York City and the United States.

Outdoor restaurants on The Old Town Market Square in Warssaw :)
Warsaw Old Town (Polish: Stare Miasto and colloquially as Starówka) is the oldest part of Warsaw, the capital city of Poland. It is one of the most prominent tourist attractions in Warsaw. The heart of the area is the Old Town Market Place, rich in restaurants, cafés and shops. Surrounding streets feature medieval architecture such as the city walls, St. John's Cathedral and the Barbican which links the Old Town with Warsaw New Town. The Old Town was established in the 13th century. Initially surrounded by an earthwork rampart, prior to 1339 it was fortified with brick city walls. The architecture of the Old Town has changed over the centuries along with the changing styles of art. During the Invasion of Poland (1939), much of the district was badly damaged by the German Luftwaffe, which targeted the city's residential areas and historic landmarks in a campaign of terror bombing. After World War II, the Old Town was meticulously rebuilt. In an effort at anastylosis, as many as possible of the original bricks were reused. However, the reconstruction was not always accurate to prewar Warsaw, sometimes deference being given to an earlier period, an attempt being made to improve on the original, or an authentic-looking facade being made to cover a more modern building. In 1980, Warsaw's Old Town was placed on the UNESCO's list of World Heritage Sites as "an outstanding example of a near-total reconstruction of a span of history covering the 13th to the 20th century. The site is also one of Poland's official national Historic Monuments, as designated September 16, 1994. Its listing is maintained by the National Heritage Board of Poland.

Stare Miasto w Warszawie, zwyczajowo Starówka – dawne miasto Stara Warszawa, najstarszy ośrodek miejski Warszawy będący zwartym zespołem architektury zabytkowej, przeważnie z XVII i XVIII wieku o średniowiecznym układzie zabudowy, otoczone pierścieniem murów obronnych z XIV–XVI wieku. Stare Miasto zostało założone na skarpie, nad brzegiem dopływu Wisły – rzeczki Kamionki, obok zamku książąt mazowieckich wzniesionego kilka lat wcześniej, na północ od wsi Warszawa. Jego początki sięgają XIII wieku. Wtedy otoczone było wałem ziemnym, który pod koniec XIV wieku został zastąpiony murem obronnym. Architektura Starego Miasta zmieniała się na przestrzeni wieków wraz ze zmieniającymi się stylami w sztuce. Pierwsze średniowieczne kamienice budowane były w stylu gotyckim, za czasów Zygmunta Augusta domy, odnawiane czy odbudowywane po klęskach żywiołowych, miały charakter renesansowy. Na początku XVII wieku kamienice zyskały barwne tynki i barokowe zdobienia. W 1944 podczas powstania warszawskiego zabudowania Starego Miasta zostały zniszczone w ok. 90%. Przetrwało sześć domów z ponad 260. Warszawscy architekci podjęli temat odbudowy stolicy już po pierwszych zniszczeniach w 1939. W pracowniach architektonicznych, konspiracyjnie lub pod pozorem innych prac, opracowywali plany urbanistyczne i dokumentacyjne. Zdecydowano się na przywrócenie świetności Starego Miasta z XVIII wieku, choć nie we wszystkich szczegółach. Zachowany został układ przestrzenny miasta z okresu jego lokacji z XII–XIII wieku. 2 września 1980 roku Stare Miasto w Warszawie zostało umieszczone na liście światowego dziedzictwa UNESCO. Warszawska Starówka znalazła się na liście jako jedyny na świecie (w tej skali) przykład niemal kompletnej rekonstrukcji.
Art rendered from a macro photograph I took of sweat bubbles on a water bottle. Manipulated 3 layers. filters, tone and saturation, and, of course my wormy squiggle.
For me photography is a creative tool to visualise what is hidden, just like the abandoned office building in this image. Its façade, full of squares in different sizes, immediately attracted me. Large concrete elements are subdivided by small square tiles and windows. A courtyard has the same elements, but was overgrown by trees.
In my studio I superimposed the clean outside façade with the courtyard and masked out some of the elements. The image that finally emerged has surreal qualities, with trees taking over and growing in and out of the windows. In this way it is a joyful hommage to the hidden beauty of the office complex that is no more, as the building was recently demolished. Rhythm and geometry always inspire me to shoot architecture, but in this case I successfully combined it with patterns of nature.
