Czarnków is a town on the Noteć River, with a population of around 12,000. residents.
The first mentions of Czarnków come from the 12th century (chronicle of Gallus Anonymus), but it is probably a mistake or perhaps a forgery. The heart of the whole city was the Market Square. Wooden buildings were gradually replaced with brick buildings. The present urban layout of the city is historic and dates back to the Middle Ages. The buildings of the market square with the Town Hall date back to the 19th and 20th centuries, and the southern frontage is the Church of St. Mary Magdalene from the 16th century (visible in the photo). In the foreground, there is a sculpture of a historical figure, the medieval chronicler Jan of Czarnków.

Macro Mondays: "Green Yellow Squares"
A building in town. They turned an old mill into a shopping centre of sorts. Small scale but way cool.

Happy Window Wednesday
the title will surprise you, but two walls of this room consist of thousands of small squares, they start in black and have upwards a smaller and smaller distance, until they touch and thereby white squares in the black arise to then become a completely black surface, after a certain height then again with white squares and distance is begun until the white squares touch again and thereby in their center again black squares arise, which then move away from each other in the distance again, until the surface becomes completely white again ... our eye can not recognize the squares from afar and conveys us round points ...
for photographing it is not an easy task, because interferences arise and moiré ... The purpose of all this is to open the space and create a kind of distant horizon ... the larger the space and distance, the better the effect ...
Exhibition Carsten Nicolai. Parallax Symmetry ... the first I saw with a white floor, everything was white except the art, the best exhibition I ever saw ...

Krzywiń is a small town in the province Greater Poland, with approximately 1,700 inhabitants. It was a private clergy town belonging to the Benedictine abbot in Lubin. The first preserved mention of Krzywiń as a town comes from 1272. In 1382, the city was destroyed during domestic fights, the reconstruction took place half a century later. In 1447, the location privilege was renewed. The center of the development was a Market Square with a town hall (the present one comes from 1905) in the south-eastern frontage. In the middle of the Market Square there is a statue of St. Wawrzyniec street and the frontages are built with houses from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.
The market was revitalized in 2014 and is a major tourist attraction.

Another Staircase Shot of the Lenbach House in Munich.
For me the attracting Issues were the regularity of Lines, the Patterns and the Light Condition in the Staircase. Enjoy!
The Lenbachhaus in Munich contains an art museum and is part of Munich's "Kunstareal" (the "art area").
The city of Munich acquired the building in 1924 and opened a museum there in 1929. The Lenbachhaus was expanded between 1927 and 1929 by Hans Grässel and again between 1969 and 1972 by Heinrich Volbehr and Rudolf Thönessen. The latest wing was closed to the public in 2009 to allow the expansion and restoration of the Lenbachhaus by Norman Foster; the 1972 extension was demolished to make way for the new building. The museum reopened in May 2013. The architect placed the new main entrance on Museumsplatz in front of the Propylaea. The new facade, clad in metal tubes made of an alloy of copper and aluminum, will weather with time.
