Spider in Ore Valley, Hastings.

Found in Brede High Woods, East Sussex this morning - about a month earlier than usual.

Thought these two were adorable! (Although off camera immediately to my right their mother was hissing at me!)

Seemed to be picking out bugs from the bark

This bird hit our window in Northumberland and broke its neck. Within hours a hedgehog appeared and totally stripped it's carcass in minutes. I've never seen this behaviour before but I suppose hedgehogs are carnivorous and this one was very hungry. Can NatureWatch help?

A tricky one as I had to go shopping to get some bits for a short break I may or may not be going on....but popped to the park and saw this Jersey Tiger moth resting under all the leaves

#100daysofnature - Day 90 - arghh I am cheating again - took this Bee Fly yesterday ....I wanted to use him as I love his beady eyes

dashed up to the meadow today to - well, I went to look for fungi - found none but caught this Small Copper....looking a little worse for wear....but enjoying some of his last nectar

dancing, bathing, having a sing-song...
