So a bunch of bees has invaded the lovely Blue Tit house I made out of left over oak flooring. I suppose a few years back I'd have been annoyed, but now it seems highly appropriate and we're all cock-a-hoop that the bees have befriended us. There's lots of coming & going by many bees, and much buzzing to be heard. Today we discovered honey dripping from the drainage holes I drilled in the floor of the box. Their mates seem to be living under the decking. Splendid.

It was the Winner of Best Norfolk Attraction 2009.

Part 2! Two hedgehogs caught in my garden last night having what seems to be a romantic moment! ❤️🙏 Hopefully I will get a glimpse of the hoglets when they arrive 😀 #hedgehogs #springwatch #northeast #hoglets #wildlife #spring
Spotted off Blakeney Point - a BBC film crew. A relative newcomer to Norfolk, often seen at Pensthorpe in spring (but not after this year apparently).
