Here are some photos from the latest nature walk which took place on the 12th March 2025. It was a cool day with nearly every weather type. Including, snow, soft hail, sleet, rain, sunshine. We went from the Peace Garden to the Nature Reserve.

I was very lucky to capture this Hobby eating a dragonfly fly on the wing just a few feet above my head!

Gus loves this time of year because his favourite television programme is on. This year he was able to watch a nest of great tits just hours after his own encounter with one.

Busy long day at work today so took this looking up from my road

the first brood of starlings have fledged this is baby and mother in the garden.

I noticed this because the male was making a really high pitched whining sound. The female was stroking him with her hind legs.

 

Can someone confirm these are bee's though? It's been suggested to me they're not..
