Didn't need to crop this beauty, came so close I could almost reach out and touch it.

some not very good shots of our barn owls,these have nested here for 3 years now, hope this year is better than last year it was so wet i dont think they raised any chicks,but this pair are bringing in a mouse every 5 minutes or so .been a good year for this old ash one succesfull great tit brood ( in nest box ) and a pai of Jackdaws nesting in a hole below the owls,

He was having a rest after an hour in the water without a catch.
