A lot of my Flickr contacts are aware of the problems I have had with the Sigma 70-200 2.8 lens I bought back in October. It has since been back to Sigma in Japan to be checked out and I received it back on Monday. After taking around 30 photos with the lens the autofocus has decided not to work once again. I am at a loss to know what to do with it, but I will have to get in touch with Sigma to see what can be done. To say I am diappointed is an understatement as it wasn't a cheap lens. As you can see from the photos, it takes beautiful photos when it is working - these are SOOC only resized in Photoshop. A lesson learnt by me: only buy Canon lenses for Canon cameras.

Isn't is great to be able to pull out visual remembrances of happy times past? It's like taking a nugget of gold out of the safety deposit box......it was put there for safe keeping to use when your resources have been depleted. Keep plenty of visual resources on hand for those days when all seems dark and dreary. Springtime is making its way through the stormy days of winter, and when it arrives -- REPLENISHMENT will take place almost immediately!

Upton Magna - Shropshire
This is the time of year for blossoms, flowers, and blooms along with a lot of beautiful blue skies. Spring is here and I, for one, and extremely happy to see warmer weather and more outdoor activity.

I find photographing flowers very tricky, and am in awe of all those beautiful flower images on flickr. This is more my excitement at the anticipated 70F on Friday, than any real attempt at being artistic :)
