Another water taxi on the Spree, taken from the opposite Spree bank. As the water taxi in my previous photo, the "Prins Bernhard" (please see the first comment), the "Adele" chuggles down the Spree towards Berlin's central railway station, the Hauptbahnhof.
In this spot, the Reichtag building is on the right and almost at the rear of the viewer. On the right, you can still see a little bit of the Jakob-Kaiser-Haus that you can also see in my previous photo (and there it's on the left).
A nice bonus here was the group of all-female dancers rehearsing in front of the huge bull's eye window of the Marie-Elisabeth-Lüders-Haus (MELH). That spot obviously is a favourite meeting place for such groups, because at our previous visit to the government district only a few days before this visit there had been another dance group rehearsing their moves right in front of that huge, round window. Maybe it's a "see and be seen" type of thing, this spot certainly is perfect for that ;)
Die "Adele", ein weiteres Wassertaxi auf der Spree, das wie die "Prins Bernhard" auf meinem vorherigen Foto (zu finden im ersten Kommentar) spreeabwärts Richtung Hauptbahnhof tuckert. Dieses Foto habe ich vom gegenüberliegenden Spreeufer gemacht, sodass sich hier das Reichtagsgebäude auf der rechten Seite, quasi fast im Rücken des Betrachters, befindet. Rechts oben könnt Ihr noch ein Eckchen vom Jakob-Kaiser-Haus sehen.
Die Fläche vor dem riesigen Bullaugenfenster des Marie-Elisabeth-Lüders-Hauses (MELH) scheint ein beliebter Treffpunkt für Gruppen aller Art zu sein. Denn bereits bei unserem vorangegangenen Besuch des Reigierungsviertels nur wenige Tage vor diesem Besuch tummelte sich dort eine Tanztruppe und übte ihre Schritte. Die recht große Gruppe, die ihr hier sehen könnt, bestand ausschließlich aus Frauen, die dort offenbar eine komplette Probe durchgeführt hatten. Dieser Ort ist natürlich auch perfekt zum "Sehen und gesehen werden" ;)

"Nach der Entscheidung, dass Berlin Hauptstadt wird, stand der Spreebogen zur völligen Neubebauung zur Verfügung. 1992 wurde ein städtebaulicher Wettbewerb ausgeschrieben, für den 835 Beiträge aus 54 Ländern eingingen.
Eine Jury aus namhaften Architekten sowie Politikern aller Parteien auf Bundes- und Landesebene entschieden sich am 18. Februar 1993 für den Entwurf der Berliner Architekten Axel Schultes und Charlotte Frank.
Er beeindruckte durch ein geradliniges breites "Band des Bundes", das die beiden Spreeufer verbindet und so städtebaulich die deutsche und die Berliner Wiedervereinigung symbolisiert.
Nach dem Baubeginn 1997 dauerte es nur vier Jahre, bis das Amt eingeweiht wurde. Zu dem Ensemble gehören heute auch das Paul-Löbe und das Marie-Elisabeth-Lüders Haus. Die Spree, die einstige Grenze zwischen Ost und West, ist in die Architektur integriert und wird immer wieder durch Brücken überwunden. Die Bundesregierung"

I took the photo on the same day as the pictures on the Washingtonplatz.
"After the decision that Berlin will be the capital, the Spreebogen was available for a complete new development. In 1992, an urban planning competition was announced for which 835 entries from 54 countries were received.
On February 18, 1993, a jury of renowned architects and politicians from all parties at the federal and state level decided in favor of the design by Berlin architects Axel Schultes and Charlotte Frank.
It impressed with a straight, broad "Band of the Federation", which connects the two banks of the Spree and thus symbolizes the German and Berlin reunification in terms of urban planning.
After the start of construction in 1997, it took only four years until the office was inaugurated. Today, the ensemble also includes the Paul-Löbe and Marie-Elisabeth-Lüders Haus. J'ai pris la photo le même jour que les photos sur la Washingtonplatz.

Elle a impressionné par une "bande de la Fédération" droite et large, qui relie les deux rives de la Spree et symbolise ainsi la réunification allemande et berlinoise en termes d'urbanisme.
Après le début de la construction en 1997, il n'a fallu que quatre ans pour que le bureau soit inauguré. Aujourd'hui, l'ensemble comprend également la Paul-Löbe et Marie-Elisabeth-Lüders Haus. La Spree, ancienne frontière entre l'Est et l'Ouest, est intégrée dans l'architecture et est traversée à plusieurs reprises par des ponts. Le gouvernement fédéral"

ENG: Once again I went for a walk along the banks of the Spree and Humboldthafen, directly at Berlin Central Station. There I stroll along the shore and my view falls on the PWC building. PWC is an "auditing company" and is based in this building. I thought the view upwards was simply fantastic and now I want to share it with you.
GER: Ich bin mal wieder spazieren gewesen am Spreeufer sowie Humboldthafen und zwar direkt am Berliner Hauptbahnhof. Da flaniere ich so am Ufer entlang und mein Blick fällt auf das PWC Gebäude. Die PWC ist eine „Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft“ und hat ihren Sitz in diesem Gebäude. Ich fand den Blick nach oben einfach fantastisch und lass euch nun dran teilhaben.

Ich bin mal wieder spazieren gewesen am Spreeufer sowie Humboldthafen und zwar direkt am Berliner Hauptbahnhof. Da flaniere ich so am Ufer entlang und mein Blick fällt auf das PWC Gebäude. Die PWC ist eine „Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft“ und hat ihren Sitz in diesem Gebäude. Ich fand den Blick auf die Treppe einfach fantastisch und lass euch nun dran teilhaben.

Schloss Bellevue has been the first official residence of the Federal President since 1994. Not far from the German Bundestag and the Federal Chancellery, the castle stands on the edge of the Tiergarten. It is surrounded by a large park bordering the banks of the Spree. In the immediate vicinity is the Victory Column.
O Schloss Bellevue é a primeira residência oficial do Presidente Federal desde 1994. Não muito longe do Bundestag alemão e da chancelaria federal, o castelo fica à beira do Tiergarten. Está rodeado por um grande parque que faz fronteira com as margens do rio Spree. Nas imediações encontra-se a Coluna da Vitória.
Schloss Bellevue ist seit 1994 der erste Amtssitz des Bundespräsidenten. Nicht weit entfernt vom Deutschen Bundestag und vom Bundeskanzleramt steht das Schloss am Rande des Tiergartens. Es ist umgeben von einem weitläufigen Park, der an das Spreeufer grenzt. In direkter Nachbarschaft befindet sich die Siegessäule.
Le Schloss Bellevue est la première résidence officielle du président fédéral depuis 1994. Non loin du Bundestag allemand et de la Chancellerie fédérale, le château se dresse à la lisière du Tiergarten. Il est entouré d'un grand parc bordant les rives de la Spree. Dans les environs immédiats est la colonne de la victoire.v
Schloss Bellevue ha sido la primera residencia oficial del presidente federal desde 1994. No muy lejos del Bundestag alemán y de la Cancillería Federal, el castillo se encuentra en el borde del Tiergarten. Está rodeado por un gran parque que bordea las orillas del Spree. En las inmediaciones se encuentra la Columna de la Victoria.
ENG: I love this bridge, for me it is the most beautiful bridge in Berlin. The Oberbaumbrücke connects the two districts „Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain“ of Berlin. It was used as a customs bridge in the past century and today it is served by the subway line 1. I photographed the bridge this morning in the most beautiful sunshine from the Universal Music Spreeufer.
GER: Ich liebe diese Brücke, für mich ist das die schönste von ganz Berlin. Die Oberbaumbrücke verbindet die beiden Bezirke „Kreuzberg und Friedrichshain“ von Berlin. Sie diente in einem vergangenen Jahrhundert als Zollbrücke und heute fährt auf ihr die U-Bahn Linie 1. Fotografiert habe ich die Brücke heute Morgen bei aller schönsten Sonnenschein vom Universal Music Spreeufer aus.
