I've been doing a bunch of plain, black and white ink ATCs (artist trading cards--basically, art the size of a playing card) that I thought I'd use as a series for etsy. As they appeared on the paper, I decided I'm going to use the bulk of them on a larger canvas project.
I've added at least two or three more since this photo. I have another two or three blanks to fill of this kind of paper yet. Then I'll pick a number of them and probably put the rest up on etsy individually.
In the course of taking about a gazillion shots of these birds, i managed to get a few good ones. Once again, i wish i would have a much better zoom, but then i guess the other two birds coming in to land would have been out of the shot. i got a few other great shots of birds in flight, but they are either too distant or pixilated to be Flickr-worthy.
Please view large to appreciate the three birds in flight/landing!
