And I will admit it!!!
I will just say that Brazos Bend State Park is a great place for taking pictures, but it can’t compare to the bayou. There is absolutely no way that this will happen at the park, but the bayou offers up far too many opportunities to get close to wildlife and I have to admit that I am just a bit spoiled. This is another of my Little Blue Heron buddies on the bayou walking right up to the canoe before he turned around and walked back in the opposite direction. If you sit still and there is no wind, you can wail away on the shutter to now end and the sound of the shutter does not frighten them away. Move and he’s gone in the blink of eye and squawking like someone shot him. Photo taken in Alligator Alley on Horsepen Bayou.

Highlights from a photowalk with my friend Mike V. in downtown Ottawa, where Mike was fixating on the dappled light reflecting against the wall... from the middle of the street.

Spoiled for choice
This month, the Atelier Photographique du Pays de Nay has blessed me with "self-portrait in reflection" as a monthly theme. Suffice to say that I am having fun.
With us home all the time now, Baker is getting so spoiled. He expects us to play with him and keep him occupied now that he is with us 24/7. But on the flip side of things, I am so grateful for him as he keeps us moving, makes us laugh and is always up for a snuggle or a walk. He gives us both someone to take care of besides ourselves.

I noticed that my FAVORITE creator followed me on Flicker and it occured to me that most of the time I am wearing something I got at the Spoiled Store. Yes, my favorite thing to wear while surfing (shown in photo) was also a SpoiledStore find. I am SO happy to give them the credit they deserve.
