The 25.2 tesla split magnet offers users direct optical access to its central bore. While its revolutionary design represents a new frontier in optics-related research, the split magnet can easily be configured for a range of non-optics experiments as well.

Baptistery, formerly Temple of Jupiter - Renaissance tomb at entrance

Continuing on the theme, able to take the M5 and split between the northern part and southern part of the Rockies (Canadian and Colorado). This was the last roll until I had to send the camera away for a full CLA and meter repair, for which it was clearly due being in the wild for sometime. Lots of hiking but well worth it. Most of the time was overcast but did the best I could to capture with suboptimal light. I was inspired as usual with the flickeranians who do so well in the most trying of conditions - thanks for the continued inspiration!

Arrived at the lovely, modern Riva in Split at 6am, then sat in a cafe for coffee / tea until the owners of our hostel woke up to let us in.

I was trying to catch a picture of her sleeping... This picture was taken a split-second after I startled her accidentally and woke her up. She forgave me and the flash in her eye, yawned, then fell back asleep, hard! Sorry baby girl!

Guess it's cheaper to only raise half of the house?

An early morning trip up the shore to visit Split Rock State Park and to watch the sun rise.

I thought the lighting looked neat in this picture. There is a walking trail splitting up ahead hence the title.
