This Kiko buck has a 5 cm split in his scrotum. There is disagreement as to whether splits over 5 cm are a problem.
I built this fence about 25 years ago along a walkway that runs along the side of our house to a rear entrance. Split rails have always been my favorite kinda fences, and when I was going through a lumber yard one day and saw a stack of cedar posts and rails, I couldn't resist buying a bunch and trying my hand at building one. It's still holding up good as new.
