Master Splinter from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

This shot looks more like a scene from Splinter Cell with the green light than a trip to Akvariet(Aquarium).

This is Markus looking for monkey babies(Silkeape/Silk monkey(?)) in their cage. But they are hiding behind the trees. So I didn't get any good shots of them, but they sure was cute hanging on to their mother.

After my Mom and I left the park, we took the kids back to her house for ice cream. When my Dad came home, he was thrilled to find that his mad skilz as a fake doctor would come in handy to remove Cassidy's splinter. My sister had to point out the obvious, that Cassidy as a fourth child, was operated on by a 62 year old man without a college degree, with a box cutter, with her mother taking pictures.

The pitcher plant is carnivorous. Insects are trapped and

fall into a pool of liquid at the bottom of the "pitcher." Enzymes and bacteria help decompose the insects. Minerals and nutrients from the decomposed prey are then absorbed by the pitcher plants.

I kept struggling to get a really good shot of the critical moment but they are sadly all a bit blurry. After a while I also decided to just watch the joust rather than try and photograph it.
