For the Card scramble 65. Rainbows and butterflies. Stamped the butterflies and die cut. Stamped the splatters on the card and butterflies separately. Matched the butterflies to the right splatters.
Atmospheric conditions during summer in Florida can produce some unusual cloud formations. Here is one (upper foreground) that resembles a paint splatter.
I watched a pair of Black Vultures sitting on a tree limb enjoying the sunshine. They would touch their bills together and nibble at each others heads. They are monogamous and stay with their mates all year round. They remain as partners for many years. When they decided it was time to take to the air they sailed into the sky one after the other. They are really quite gorgeous birds when in flight. The farther up they fly the less you see the splatters of poop on their feathers :)
i've always been a big fan of paint splatters...on canvases, walls, floors, and...on people's clothes.
i walk by this art-making space on folsom on the way to yoga. seeing all this color splattered around randomly always makes me smile.
For Halloween my dad and I painted a series of polystyrene skulls with UV paint. This was one of mine, painted first in black poster paint and then receiving flicks of paint. I did get some on the grass, so if you shine a UV light on our lawn there are paint flicks that still glow slightly. This was mine and my neighbour's favourite of all 15 skulls.
It was, of course, difficult to capture the image, since it was dark, the only light being the UV bulb, and the skull was suspended above the front door. To get this I ended up balanced on a stepladder.

Se eu não errei, esse é o nome bonito para a técnica "assoprar esmalte por um tubo" HAHAHA.
Usei um tubo bem estreito (diga oi, cotonete!) e foi fácil, mas não tanto quanto eu esperava. Alguém já usou mais largo e foi mais prático?
