Ginger, turmeric, black pepper, cloves.

Sea Salt and Peppercorn.

I seem to be eating or drinking infusions of this stuff all the time!

Turmeric seems to aid, well just about everything, so I use it a lot!

From the morning this Spice bush swallowtail was trying to mate with another one, I had to go shopping so I had no time,

About 5pm I seen activity by the fence,

I took 15 shots sitting on a kitchen chair 40 feet away

with no tripod,

These are dried herbs. To keep the color on them for a long time, I pick whole branches with leaves and let them hang upside down in a dark, dry place with plenty of fresh air. In the jars at the top of the picture are dried leaves, then I pick only the leaves but they fade quickly, the taste and smell remain the same. These are rosemary, sage and thyme from my garden.

This is a mix of Marjoram, Rosemary, Sage, Savory, Oregano, Basil... aka Italian Style seasoning.

The measuring spoons were my Mom's and have been well used for over 70 years.
