A demo for a special effects video I've been working a bit on recently. Doing shooting, visual and sound effects. Part of a larger video I'm putting together with several sequences.
I started this several weeks ago and have been pecking away at it once in a while.
I have no idea when I'll be finished with this video, but thought I would post what I have so far.
I shot most of this back in the late winter when there was still snow on the ground, so what you see is real Lego standing in real snow shot outside.

I used NYX contour power palette
I hand made the bald cap by layering latex on a latex balloon evenly up to 14 layers alway measure your head to the exact measurements to the size of the balloon.
I used all professional make up & Brushes

This is what happens when you get burned. Do not try this at home! Ok, I'm pretty sure that if they were real then there wouldn't be any photoshoots involved with it. At least not with a live person. Since Helen has graduated from special effects school (Grimmikool), then there is no reason not to try out something like this instead of regular beauty-shoots I'm usually involved with. After I did set up home studio in my small apartment and Helen made that "wound" in ~2h, I dropped my pants and we started. Me, first time, as a model (now I know how hard it actually is to be one). Helen, as well for the first time, was behind my camera, composed and pressed shutter button (settings were already set up by me). Here's the result. Does your back hurt?
