I grew up a country boy, while my wife spent her pre-college years just outside a major city. To this day, when we're treated to mild weather like this, I love to spend time in the backyard. She soaks in the sun on the front steps. She calls them the "stoop."
A mother and her young daughter spend time together in a sunny park, tending to vibrant flowers in a wooden planter. The little girl admires the blooms as they share a joyful moment.

i know, it looks a disaster but let me set you straight. the mister and i live in a bungalow that was built in 1918. there is one tiny closet and less than 500 square feet to live in. so all this clutter really isn't so bad. if we had one more room, it would look practically organized. contrary to what the mister believes which is that i would just spill into a bigger space with more stuff...sigh.
