Went out this afternoon to try and get a nice sunset photo. At first it looked disappointing and thought a good sunset wasn't going to happen. I was dead wrong. This was probably one of the best looking sunsets I've ever witnessed. Every inch of the sky was covered with color, unfortunately I don't have a 360 degree camera. 6 shot panorama taken at Ala Moana beach park.
For once Mel is speechless.
I lost my small stash of umbrellas when we moved a new recliner into the living room. I finally found them yesterday and Mel got to be the first to try out one of the big ones. We'll skip the tricks I had to use to get her to hold it and stand up at the same time and instead revel in the cool way her glasses reflect the parking lot.

Infrared filter. Partridge Falls, Pigeon River, Grand Portage Indian Reservation, MN. I'm standing in Minnesota, and the trees across the water are in Ontario Canada.
I needed the infrared filter because it was about noon, and even with 2 Hoya ND8's, it was still too bright. The camera was set to do 3 shots of 4 seconds each. I just needed 20 seconds to scramble over the wet and eroded rocks. And yes, that's me, about 25ft away from the tripod. Here is the same shot without me or infrared filter
