Taken on the island of Madeira.
I got up in the night and drove to the east of the island. Parked the car and followed an unofficial small path high above the coastline. Had no exact idea, if I was right. So I waited for the day to come, but what I found, left me just speechless....

Ich stand nachts auf und fuhr in den Osten der Insel. Dort parkte ich das Auto und folgte einem kleinen inoffiziellem Pfad hoch über der Küste. Ich hatte keine genaue Ahnung, ob ich richtig war, also wartete ich einfach auf den Tag. Was ich dann vorfand, machte mich einfach nur sprachlos....

Backstory; I always wore my Lel Raven head, always.
I changed shapes, but I used to wrong head for the shape, bc, you know, I just graduated from Silly Goose university.
So my avi looking all cute with the wrong head for the shape but it’s ok. She’s cute.

When this photo was taken the Bosnian Kriegsloks had months left in service then Covid happened and information about their current situation has dried up. Hopefully they have survived.
Here we see 33248 blasting out of the mine complex at Dubrave. On this day she was in steam to carry out shunting duties around the mine. Access was denied but after exchanging a few euros the men that mattered agreed to hook 248 onto a rake of wagons and let her stretch her legs outside the mine.
Huissen Grote Bloem the Tree in the water
One of these late October sunrises. I decided to visit the floodplains. This tree in the water I had shot before, but thanks to the low water level I could get very close from another angle.
It was scary because at some point I dipped in the mud too deep, hardly getting my rain boots out of it! Eventually I got a clear shot just as I hoped for, fog, calm water, and reflection.
One of these rare moments in 2016 I will not easy forget, this shot is one of my personal 2016 favorites. Wish you all a nice day. Thanks for your comments and favs. I appreciate those!

Middle of the night first light rain brought so many gifts to me. As you see, I don't have a title for this one as it left me speechless.
Speechless is what I was. This photo is essentially straight from the camera. Touched the sharpness a hair and framed it.
Such beautiful views at this place. Truly a wonderful place.
I went with Leen to the IJsselmeer (Lake IJssel) looking for a beach for a sunset spot. We didn't find a good beach spot and came up with this location. The sunset was GREAT.
Sometimes when you're out taking shots you turn to your left and turn to your right. I am glad I turned right because this is what I saw... I was speechless.
easily top 5 moments of my life. some saw this clip a lil sooner and some got to hear my excitement.
I no worries I have in cage footage but net was garbage and I really just enjoying my time. so editing the vids will happen once vaca is done.

Polihale Beach. Incoming storm. He is deeply transfixed. Considered the western most point in the US, although Nihau, the forbidden Island lies further west. You can feel the spirits here.

Unofficially, Polihale has been incorrectly translated in many instances as the "House of the Po", where Po is the Hawaiian afterworld.
By this account, spirits are said to travel to the coastal plain adjacent to the beach, and stay in the temple, known as the heiau. From there, they would climb the cliffs to the north, jump off into the sea to get to the mythical Po.
The story further indicates that this belief was so strong that all the homes built in the vicinity of Polihale would have had no east facing doors, so that no traveling spirit could become trapped within."
