Earth

~~

How beautiful you are, Earth, and how sublime! How perfect is your obedience to the light, and how noble is your submission to the sun!

How lovely you are, veiled in shadow, and how charming you face, masked with obscurity!

How soothing is the song of your dawn, and how harsh are the praises of your eventide!

How perfect you are, Earth, and how majestic!

The pounding rain can be seen in this picture. The windows appear to be like giant spectacles on this old Sumas Substation near Chilliwack. It has an air of mystery about it, especially with the mannequin placed in the window. Like a Hitchcock Thriller.

#5736 - 2023 Day 257/365: Something about glasses lying around suggests I'm being watched.

From the Daily Express, Thursday 25/05/06. Okay, before everyone says "ahhh", this is a bit twisted. Chinese scientists are using the rhesus monkeys pictured to study myopia - short-sightedness to the rest of us.

Now, I eat meat and generally don't worry about where my purchases have come from, but this is a bit much.

Coming soon, possibly: Fair Trade glasses?

got some glasses prints from rawkiss on etsy and was testing out a pair. crap...now i want all my dolls to be bespectacled... #bjd #asleepeidolon

I took this shot earlier with the Hasselblad so I thought I would come back for a second attempt and get in a bit closer with the OM2Sp.

I thought I would experiment with this roll of Legacy Pro 400 and push it to 1600 iso.

The experiment was to develop it in Rodinal 1:100 stand development for 2 hours, initial 30 very gentle turns with a turn on every 1/2 hour.

I was in Mayhem danceclub and with me were Daniel A, Daniel G and Derroll, all of whom wear glasses. It seemed all their glasses looked the same, except for the prescriptions being totally different. I hoped if I put all three of them on it would sort of balance them out to normal but it didn't.
