BATTLESCARS WL : CLOUDS - BACKWATER 4.0
October 1, 2023 and I never expected to find this “Special Rose” so late in the growing season. I love the rich, rich Red set against this faded wall and the shadows as well. I cut this same rose bush last fall to a mere 18” tall. Never in my wildest thoughts did I think it could be 5’ tall now. It now grants me the pleasure of viewing and shooting such great camera shots. Don’t underestimate Nature and Gods power bring about such beauty. Thanks for viewing my stream. Gratitude and Kindness can be found in any garden no matter the time of year.
This Royal tern parent was returning with a meal for its adult sized young who were not yet foraging on their own. It was fun to watch as the parent would often make several circles calling all throughout while waiting for his young to be in position to take the fish without it getting stolen. Sometimes a bird with a fish would land and due to others on the ground with its young it would take-off again waiting for a better delivery opportunity.
What made this one special was that I shot it in a weird WL setting that almost looked like a negative image onscreen. I tried shooting it with the negative SL filter and this is what I got!
never saw it before but it 's definitely a daffodil looking at the leaves and stems..
by now it saw it elsewhere here on Flickr and its called Narcissus Rip Van Winkle!
