Feeling like art this week that never got posted. From my previous study with a speaker as the starter and only image used in it's making. Just something I whipped up for my own artistic amusement.

People are encouraged to express themselves through speaking or singing at Speaker’s Corner located behind the dead waterfall in Derby Market Place.
Artist Timothy Clapcott crafted ceramic heads of famous speakers that are hung on the wall. They all have QR (Quick Response) codes to access additional information on the represented members…I have to add that, to date and after numerous visits, I have never seen or heard anyone using it.

A shot of a speaker that i took in a warehouse in Hull. This speaker was just dangling above a doorway. I light painted this with an LED torch and a blue gel. I shot this RAW and with a 10-20mm lens

Repro bass dan mid bass jauh lebih bagus daripada semua speaker dengan driver 8 inci yang pernah kami buat, tetapi tanpa trade-off di area frekwensi tinggi. A Filipino man in Bacolod, Philippines, repairs an audio speaker woofer for a karaoke machine that he rents for parties that involve singing....that's basically every party in the Philippines. ;-)
Listening to music is a favourite activity. I love this speaker! It's a musical instrument really, the lazy musician's instrument.

Shot with Rolleiflex 3.5T medium format TLR on Ilford Delta 100 film. Developed in Sprint chemistry. Negative scanned on Epson V600 scanner. Post-processing in Photoshop.
On the big lawn outside the front of Parliament House in Hobart, there are meetings and protests held on a regular basis. Trees like this one provide shade under which speakers rave on about whatever their latest concerns are. It is interesting isn't it, that the silent majority never meet to discuss how much they like their society. As they say, the squeaky wheel gets the oil.
That's the fatal flaw of democracy, which Winston Churchill once aptly summed up: "Many forms of Government have been tried, and will be tried in this world of sin and woe. No one pretends that democracy is perfect or all-wise. Indeed it has been said that democracy is the worst form of Government except for all those other forms that have been tried from time to time.…"
