Space Shuttle for iPhone, by Laminar Research, same people who do X-Plane.
After many attempts I was incredibly excited to successfully dock the space shuttle with the International Space Station.
Maneuvering a craft in space is quite different than flying a plane since you have all three axis' to work with.
My score was 95%!
My see through shuttle under construction. The hardest part was the engine compartment as the directions weren't very clear on it.
Logs are cut and laid on ground like this. Floor is laid on these logs and more logs are laid for the walls. The space beneath floor insulates house and is used to store root vegitables like potatoes and carrots.
Mike Barish (Flight Commander) and Stephen Conte (Co-Pilot) take a break while in lunar orbit to pose for a photo and allow the flight doctor to conduct various experiments.
(Note: Our ridiculous school district had a 40' space shuttle simulator and we were selected to "go on a mission." As Stephen so aptly put it, "we peaked in 6th grade.")

Yes, you've seen it a million times already. Well here it is again as it passed over downtown Los Angeles and Griffith Park (before landing at Los Angeles International Airport). It was moved through city streets to the California Science Center in Los Angeles's Exposition Park (where it went on display Oct 30, 2012).
To make way for it nearly 400 trees were cut down (not to mention the temporary relocation of hundreds of utility poles, wires, street lights and traffic signals). Can you imagine if the California Science Center was located in Brentwood, instead of South Central Los Angeles?

Space shuttle Discovery docks with the International Space Station at 7:18 a.m. EDT Thursday, July 28, 2005. During the approach, the shuttle performed an unprecedented back-flip to allow the crew members to photograph the shuttle's heat shield. (NASA)
