Day 7: Saturday we took a day off from the parks and went shopping (thus no pics) but Sunday was Epcot day! This is the big-ass golf ball thing the park is famous for. It's actually a ride called Spaceship Earth.

Spaceship Earth, Epcot - Walt Disney World

Processed using Photoshop CS3 with Topaz Adjust 5.

Please visit my Walt Disney World - 2011 set.

This photograph is part of the "SpaceShip" set I try to create with this exploration. There really was some part of this subterranean that remind me a SpaceShip!

This is definitely my favourite place in all the spot! I can't remove the image of Tron legacy when I'm looking of those reflect! That's really some kind of high power area!

This was taken in a Subterranean with Gavial! It was really fun! And I loved a lot of part in this area!

Hope you'll like as much as me!

Cheers!

Disney Epcot Spaceship Earth near sunset.

Leaving Epcot for the last time, there has to be one last ride on Spaceship Earth.

The giant geodesic sphere that is Spaceship Earth. Probably the most well known building at Epcot.

Taken on 3-15-2021 on an iPhone 8 Plus

"The Golfball" is absolutely massive in real life. A geodesic sphere standing 180 feet tall (Or 16 and a half stories), it contains a ride that some people seem to miss! Make sure to thank the Phonecians ;)

Spaceship Earth the icon for Epcot at the Walt Disney World and Resort in Orlando,FL.

Spaceship Earth tells the story of how each link in human history played a role in its evolution. Caveman learned to hunt together to successfully catch their food, which lead to the formation of communities. The rise of the Roman Empire prompted it to build great roads, which in turn let its enemies take down the empire. The Dark Ages inspired the Renaissance. And computers developed and changed communication and our view of the future.

hmmmm... there doesn't appear to be any gravity in this atmosphere...

Lobelia always make me think of little men in purple spaceships!

The whimsy in this carpet could only have come from the imagination of a child. Indeed the young son of Carini Lang co-founders Aurelie Lang and Joseph Carini drew this starry-night spaceship. Joseph transformed his son's vision into a rich, deep midnight blue silk rug perfect for a child's room. All Carini Lang rugs, including this one, are certified child-labor-free by GoodWeave.

After the initial excitement of doing the Mission Space: Green Team (so much fun!) and checking out the Nemo & Friends aquarium (so many rays and sharks!) we took a brief rest on the walkway to the World Showcase (mostly to see if we could get a FastPass to Test Track [we couldn't]). I took this shot of Spaceship Earth and then essentially put my camera away for the day. There's just too much to see to take pictures of at the World Showcase!

Great to look at, and an enjoyable ride, if you like AA.

Cool when viewed on black!

Spaceship Earth in black and white. This photo is actually upside down from how I shot it using the wide angle 11-16mm lens. But I guess you'd never know.

Inside Spaceship Earth, we see scenes of the past and how humanity learned along the way to advance knowledge and technology.
