The Sunday School building at the Christian Science complex in Boston.

A supercell thunderstorm on the Kansas Plains appears to explode in all directions right before our eyes in May of this year. We were able to stay in position and photograph this storm for over 4 hours. We watched it become a supercell, we watched the supercell die. One of my favorite chase days to date.

The palm house at Kew Gardens which reminded me of a 70's space ship, hence the title of the photograph.

Good Morning, I haven't posted one of this iconic attraction in a long time. Here is an edit of Space Ship Earth in its colorful glory. I love closing it out at Epcot because they aren't very pushy about getting you out after park close. Hope you enjoy and thanks for looking.

I got pulled into a troubleshooting call at 10 pm and it could go for hours into the early morning, so I had to improvise a picture of the day. These are the Lego spaceships that occupy various spots on my home desk.

Today's photo makes use of my stars technique I shared yesterday. Although I haven't posted anything new in a while I have been doing a bit of editing. One of the things I've particularly been focusing on lately are the highlights in my photos. I'm not a fan of the sharp transitions from midtones to highlights so I've been working on some techniques to help smooth those out. If you pay close attention to the water I think you'll see see how I gradated this out to get a smoother look. It's subtle, but every little improvement counts. Finally, in case you missed it yesterday, you can see how to make the stars pop in your photos at www.thetimethespace.com/making-stars-pop/

Following the discovery of the Galactica orbiting within the Sol system's asteroid belt, designs for a new fleet of warships began. The result is the Battlestar Chelone, Greek for turtle. Significantly more armored that her Colonial counterpart, the Chelone-Class Battlestar is built to withstand multiple nuclear missile strikes.

I took a job in the Kitchener, Ontario office and discovered a street festival with a car show happening outside. Naturally checked it out and got some photos with the Pixel. Posted some on FB but my Flickr buds get the good stuff. Ya seen one of these before ?

Spaceship Earth in Epcot's Future World just after sunset at Walt Disney World, Orlando, Florida on Friday, March 6, 2020.

I share on my All Ears blog how I went from a flat looking photo of Spaceship Earth to this dramatic look using graduated filter tools in Lightroom.

I had the opportunity to spend a great weekend shooting at WDW with fellow Flickr'rs Matt Pasant, JeffB, Joe Penniston and Tom Bricker.

Work got in the way since then but I'm coming up for air now and getting ready to start posting some of what I shot during the weekend and I'm really enjoying seeing what everyone else has been posting lately.

A wooden spaceship structure that appeared in my hometown a few years ago. I wonder how long it will last?
