“On this eve before she is torn from all she knows, kidnapped, hurled into deep space against her will, what thoughts fill the mind of the young space captive?” ~~ Penny Robinson- Lost in Space

A panoramic reflection where I just got lost in the beauty of the still Llyn Idwal. Space Dementia is by Muse
This little opening attract me somewhat. Two properties meeting. Two different fences.
Happy Fence Friday
Is it really over
Is it really done this time
Cause we’ve been getting closer
I think I need to draw a line cause
I don’t want an almost
I don’t wanna make it up
I don’t wanna fake this up
I need spaaace
Before it gets toxic
Spaaace, losing my logic
Spaaace, spaaace..

Visiting the Space Needle on a recent vacation. Taken with my iPhone 12 Pro, edited in Lightroom Mobile.
Always alone, while strolling along these fractured shores.
Biding my time, ever soaring up high with shooting stars.
Cracking a smile, while singing quietly these unheard songs.
Drifting inward, and laughing nonstop to a strange inner space.
Continuing the "Nature on Ice" series. Getting back to some more experimental cosmic candy. I'm still trying to get some Winter ideas out of the bucket. Spring shall return shortly. Wishing my Flickr friends a wonderful weekend!
Thanks for the favs and kind compliments. They are much appreciated!
This scene is inside igloo 1. There is a front image of eyes and the eyes slowly fade to reveal this outer space scene behind. It's cool to watch.
Exhibit #1 by Neckcadaver Resident
Location: Kittycats Xmas Exhibits, Calliefornia

Folks who love kittycats made little vignettes that you can vote on from Dec 5-14, 2016. Voting is over. Thanks to everybody who came out!
January: This exhibit took 3rd place. Event is over. Location is closed.
Camera: Firestorm, 2 stills -- one in black and white. The igloos have a glow so the insides tend to be bright and lack shadows. With the b&w one, I used levels to darken it to bring up the textures, especially on the planet. Then I layered it on the colored one. The effect darkened the skies to a deeper black as well which I quite liked -- more spacey.
Credits are going to be late. Took longer to work on this one until I liked it then I thought it would. (Addendum: sorry, forgot to go back and get the credits.)

I had the beach all to myself this morning ... probably because there wasn't a colourful sunrise.
It really wasn't that cold and I didn't need gloves. But I could see the rain clouds gathering and that's what's forecast for the rest of the day.
Hope everyone has a lovely Christmas, with lots of nice things to eat and drink.
Looking Close... on Friday! theme Round in Vertical Photo
It's back to bubble time! I particularly liked the subtlety of this bubble caught on some moss. It looks quite space agey, it’s also looks like it’s on life support, or perhaps it’s a new method for harvesting oxygen?
I tried out some new ideas for the theme but disappointment and a lack of time meant that I had to ditch the project ...for now.
Happy Looking Close... on Friday! 😊
a Space cadet, a mixed hybrid. You were mistaken if you ever thought you knew me. Third Eye, got me hearing loudy. In the dark I'm a night light.
Indefinite spaces S, 1963, Francisco Sobrino.
Sobrino left Spain for Buenos Aires in 1949, where he came into contact with the artists of the group Arte Concreto-Invención. He then moved to Paris in 1958, where he became one of the founding members of the Groupe de Recherche d’Art Visuel (GRAV) in 1960. This is also when he started making sculptures out of simple geometric forms, cut from tinted transparent plastic sheets and arranged in regular structures. The effects of combination and layering deliberately make it difficult to determine the position of each shape in space and in relation to each other.
Looking Close on Friday: "Spirals" theme
A vintage toy from the 1950s, Space Satellite is a toy/game that I had as a kid. It requires the player to tilt the card in a way that rolls the ball bearing "satellite" up a molded plastic spiral to a resting place on top of the spiral. It's not easy to do, by the way. I did a bit of spiral-like light painting in keeping with the theme, and processed the image in a scratchy style in an effort to match the now scratchy condition of the clear plastic dome on the toy.
