There is still a good share of Soviet architecture in place like this building, of which I don't know its current purpose.
Leave it to some very expired Soviet film and a German camera to make the suburban Southern US look so depressingly Soviet.
These shots are the closest I've come to normal results from the very expired Soviet film. The light edges are mostly from my scanner not being able to hold them flat, not from the film. Many of the dots and so on are on the film, though. Not sure if they're due to age or true flaws. Shot at EI 12.
Developed 6:15 seconds in Arista Liquid developer at 68 degrees F.
Taken on 1988 expired Tasma Foto 65 with a Minox PL.
The 35-foot-tall statue on top of the mausoleum shows a Russian soldier smashing a swastika with a sword with one hand while cradling a cowering child with the other. Given some soldiers’ rather unbecoming behavior following the battle, some locals suggested that the soldier would more accurately be depicted holding a ravaged woman.

The former government building of the Autonomous Abkhaz Soviet Republic in the middle of Sukhumi, Abkhazia is comepletely abandoned.

This cemetery is filled with some 2000 graves of higher echelon Soviet military and two anti-fascist Germans was established in April 1945, while the siege of Breslau was still ongoing. It got its present triangular shape in 1947.

Nežinau ar man vaikystėj pagrinde papuldavo prastai atspauzdintos nesuderintu spauzdintuvu knygos ar tai buvo sovietinių knygų išskirtinis bruožas, bet tai užstrigo. Pagrinde foto kur per daug kažkurios spalvos, dažniausiai rausovos.
Na taip, vaikystėj megdavau knygas "pagražinti" :)
