From a series of 12 pieces done as "Mothers &Children-Beyond the Centre of Our Universe."
There is one Mother for each colour in the visible spectrum rainbow.
The open box reveals the soul. This, the Souls Mother on the left is 24"x24" acrylic on wood panel. The Soul Child on the right, is more abstract, as children are, and is 12"x12" acrylic on paper.

This past Sunday I did some soul searching. Me, my camera and my Ipod headed to the lake.
My head is so messy right now, I needed some time alone to start sorting through it.
I made some decisions, and outlined some plans. Now I just need to set them into action.
I also came to a realization that as long as I follow my heart I can't go wrong. So that is exactly what I am going to do.
