So here's the story....The year is 1995. Our first trip to Ireland. My husband is looking for his relative's, not really expecting to find them. His family was from County Cork...
We go, hitting the pubs along the way (now you know where I get my love of pubs), asking all we meet over a glass of Guinness, if anyone knew of the Crotty's. Many had heard the name of course, it's very Irish.
And as Irish luck would have it , we turned the corner one day and this is what we found. We stood in the street in gales of laughter to see our Name over the door. Next thing we knew, we were in, got the whole story of the WOMAN who owned the pub. She had recently died, but we were taken in the back to her kitchen where her photo still sat on the mantle. I wasn't really doing photography in those days so I missed that golden opportunity.
Needless to say we have very fond memories of that day when we shared a pint with all the boys in Crotty's pub with the memory of the leading lady sitting in the kitchen.
And yes that is me and Mr. Crotty sitting outside.
Happy St. Patrick's day to all. I'll drink to that.

we lost, but we played a great game, and had a great season.

One shot from the very fun Brides of March annual event here in San Francisco. Hundreds of people dress up as brides, drink champagne, cruise the streets, shop for diamonds and generally have a fabulous day!
Eden had her 2010 teen portraits done at Rehoboth Beach, DE. Somuchfun!! We photographed for THREE whole days on the beach, bordwalk....FunLand.
She's just so.....modely. I HEART working with Eden!!

Can't believe how grown up Lil Man is and how quickly he learned about the finer things in life.

This was my present to J for his 10th bday...it's called a RIPSTICK and it's sooooo cool and heaps of fun!! A modern day skateboard that's similar to snowboarding....
We fight over who gets to ride it...not that either of us have perfected it yet!!!
It's a "challenge" to say the least;-) It only has two wheels and they are like an OUT OF CONTROL shopping trolley!!!
Within 5 mins I was on my arse and J who was holding my hand (how embarrassing) was taken down with me!!!!...excuse the french;-)
