Essa é a segunda mani do desafio, da Dany, Four Somethings Nail Challenge. E o tema é Somenthing New..., ou algo novo... E esse é novo mesmooooo! Chegou pra mim ontem!
O Sugar Mat 642 é mto amor, gente! Bem pigmentado, quase 1 camada dá conta do recado. Mas como minhas unhas estão compridinhas, passei 2. Qdo passamos, ele parece um esmalte normal. O efeito só vai ficando evidente à medida que o esmalte seca por completo. A secagem é um tiquinho mais lenta que o normal, mas nada que assuste. Ele é fácil de limpar e a textura dele é àspera, por causa do acabamento. Esse shimmer que vcs vêem no vidro fica evidente nas unhas. Ele não brilha absurdamente como os Zoyas Pixie Dust, mas aparece o sufuciente pra chamar a atenção de quem olha. Achei o nome Sugar Mat bemmmm apropriado, pq parece mesmo com aquelas unhas de açucar que a mulherada anda fazendo. A diferença é que vc não fica parecendo a Isabelita dos Patins, com glitter até no brando dos olhos... Não gostei do pincel dele... É mais largo, gordinho, mas estava meio mole e dificultou a esmaltação. Não sei se foi problema com o meu pincel ou se os pincéis dessa coleção estão assim... Quem tiver aí e usou já, conta nos comentários!
O único problema dos esmaltes com esse tipo de acabamento é pra quem tem bichinhos peludinhos. Eu passo a mão no Tutu e na Isinha e sempre vem um pelinho grudado na unha. Mas não me incomoda em nada. Afinal eu sempre tenho pêlos dos e 2m todos os lugares!
Gente... Esse é meu primeiro liquid sand. E eu estou apaixonadaaaaaa!!!! Eu torci o nariz qdo vi a primeira foto que vi, o nariz foi voltando à posição normal na segunda foto, um sorriso despontou discretamente no canto de minha boca na terceira foto, me vi louca e hiper traumatizada a cada tentativa frustrada se comprar, e agora que consegui o meu primeiro vidrinho com esse acabamento, estou babando absurdamente! E, apesar de Kiko ser uma marquinha hiper mega difícil de conseguir do que OPI, Zoya e afins, esse pra mim foi fácil pq a lindona da Mari estava em Londres e conseguiu trazer de lá. Pq comprar um liquid sand em lojas virtuais brasileiras tá uma batalha espartana... Não consigo mas nem que a vaca morra de coqueluche as véias entenderão!
Ainda bem que já tenho um desses pra chamar de meu e pedi-lo em casamento... s2 s2 s2

I'm a nerd. I admit it, and I'm okay with it. I was getting a description of a character that I was about to play in a roleplaying game and the GM, my friend Nick, told me that my character was from the southern part of town. He also said that it was the "ghetto" of his setting. To which I instantly tossed up the symbol you see above while giving the phrase, "Southside-eed." I'm a cute little rural white chick... I'm no gangster, and that's why that made my friends laugh. I still toss up the Southside symbol to my friends from time to time.
Random Fact: Charlie bought me d6 bone dice. I need to photograph them soon.

AugustBreak2014 - day 28: something new
A few years ago I made a skirt for bellydancing from this beautiful patterned velvet . . . but having lost 50 lbs this year I have had to take in all the seams, shorten the length and redo the fastenings. I had some material left over so I have covered a bra to match and am in the process of decorating it with sequins and beads . . . it's very hard to know when to stop though!
