He is my someone special.

He's discussing the finer attributes to taking photographs. There is a true philosophy to the process for him. He likes to see an optimistic bigger picture.

The Ethics of Street Photography Discussed: jasonmcgorty.com/2011/11/the-ethics-of-street-photography/

Inspiring Indeed !!!

1. If time doesn't wait for you, don't worry!

Just remove the damn battery from the clock and Enjoylife!

2. Expecting the world to treat u fairly coz u r a good person is like

Expecting the lion not to attack u coz u r a vegetarian.

Think aboutit.

3. Beauty isn't measured by outer appearance and what clothes we wear,

But what we are inside .. So, try going out naked tomorrow and see theadmiration!

4. Don't walk as if you rule the world,

Walk as if you don't care who rules the world!

That's called Attitude…! Keep onrocking!

5. Every lady hopes

That her daughter will marry a better man than she did

And is convinced that her son will never find a wife as good as his fatherdid!!!

6. He was a good man. He never smoked, drank had no affair.

When he died, the insurance company refused the claim.

They said, he who never lived, cannotdie!

7. A man threw his wife in a pond of Crocodiles?

He's now being harassed by the Animal Rights Activists for being cruel to theCrocodiles!

8. So many options for suicide:

Poison, sleeping pills, hanging,

Jumping from a building, lying on train tracks,

But we chose Marriage, slowsure!

9. Only 20 percent boys have brains, rest have girlfriends!

10. All desirable things in life are either

Illegal, banned, expensive or married to someoneelse!

11. Laziness is our biggest enemy- Jawaharlal Nehru

We should learn to love our enemies- Mahatma Gandhi

Ab aap bataaye kiski sune bapu di ya chacha di??? (which one youchoose?)

'HATE YOUR ENEMIES FOREVER....!'

12. 10% of road accidents are due to drunken driving.

Which makes it a logical statement that

90% of accidents are due to driving withoutdrinking!

early morning last year

30/8/07 : last weekend in cardiff i bought myself a wig so that i could experiment with new looks. i liked this shot because it looks so little like me. sometimes it's nice to pretend to be someone else for a change. my someone else has pale skin and dark hair. she just needs a name now....

this should essentially do it for this year's halloween photos, save for maybe one of the carved pumpkins tonight, we'll see - fanwood, nj

this picture seriously sucks. i hate it but its the only one i have for this week...

Terrible pun for a Seagull landing on the bean.

Taken w/ D60, Bigma 50-500m. Woo hoo.

Guess which is which?

Day 13 of the March Photo Challenge: Someone else.

OK - I did not take this, clearly (someone else did!). But what an experience! Not only did we get to hang out with Bo Jackson, but our two very favorite spin instructors led the class (and handed our asses to us, which we expect them to do). What a fun way to get sweaty!

That said - it was in the interest of raising funds for tornado victims in Alabama. So if you're looking for places to put your spare pennies, consider www.bobikesbama.com! His goal is to raise 1 million to help those who lost family members or just lost everything. I was thinking how horrible it would be to lose everything. I mean day to day we think "it's just STUFF" but can you imagine having to replace some of it? ALL of it? Crazy...

A fun winter's tale - Part 4

As I walked on, deeper into the valley, I happened upon an old ricketty wooden bridge, cover in snow.

There, in the snow, were footprints. Footprints of another person, another being. I started !

Who had made these?

Who had been here, before me?

"This is the place of the Emperor", I told myself . Emperors are great beings.

Summoning up courage I stepped onto the bridge. It creaked in the cold, still air and settled.

Now I was approaching the place of the Emperor.

Another picture from my first Street photography attempt.

I shot this while sitting down on the lawns, with the camera on my shoe pre-focused at about 4m (Thank goodness for the distance scale on the old Nikkor 50mm!). And that's going to be my excuse for cutting the feet off the ladies. Hopefully my technique will improve with time.

EDIT: Not sure why, but this reminds me of pictures I saw in University brochures from when I was applying to grad school.

A castle a lifeboat and a whopping big military ship in the evening sun

Saw this gorgeous animal tethered to the Somerfields in Ludgershall today.

His different coloured eyes remind me of Mons. Bowie. Dunno what kind of pup

it is - I want to say Wolf-thing, but think it may have a bit of Malamut

(whatever) in it...Lindy will know...

Taken By Someone Else.

This picture is good ol' andy boy overlook the bible camp in westbank. That place will always be gorgeous in my eyes.

Many of my party photos gets a bit blury, but its nothing compared to this when I let someoneelse use my camera ;)

FLAT vol.4 @Taijus place. Ebisu, Tokyo.

For all the hundreds of times I read the principia in high school, I always seemed to gloss over the Golden Secret. The book ended up in someoneelse's bookshelf and it wasn't until ten years later that I thought to ask for it back. (un?)Fortunately, the durn thing was sitting right where I had left it a decade ago.

Despite having not given the principia or discordianism much thought in the intervening decade, I remembered large sections of the book (and the layout!) perfectly and nothing surprised me...until I got to The Golden Secret.

Then I did my best Keanu impersonation and was like, "woah."

For what it's worth, the i chine hexagram down there means "peace." But not only does it mean peace, I understand it the bottom line means, "use of an army means u gon' lose."

Pinterest idea I copied for a toothbrush holder

..you had to walk into them all. (Before The War, Carter USM)

This was probably in the Fat Cat. Yes, that early in the evening!
