AD: What is wrong, mi amor?
Clarrissa: People are so cruel and heartless, even though I try to be nice and kind to them. It is as if they don't see me as a feeling human being. I am just a thing to them. There are those who pretend to be my friends when it suits their needs, but in reality, they aren't. They are just playing me. Some completely ignore me, and others treat me like a paper napkin, to be used and thrown aside without a second thought. I am disappointed. It makes me sad. I don't get them. Is there something wrong with me? It makes me just want to stay in my bed. They won't miss me anyway. I'll just stay here.
AD: No, mi amor. It isn't you. It's them. In some peoples' worlds, there is more hypocrisy. They have been cheated and lied to so many times, left so disappointed, that now they believe that everyone is going to hurt and disappoint them. They expect the worst from each of us and so they are driven by hatred, envy, and jealousy. Their dreams have been so frustrated that they turn against everyone else in their helplessness. The only solution is to keep on being yourself. Maybe that way you can change the perception of one poor disillusioned soul. If you do that, it will all be worthwhile.
How many people can remember that red plastic container of bubble solution with the stick inside that you can blow through to make bubbles? This is thought I had when I rested my tripod on Cannon Beach on the Oregon Coast.
The weight of the sky and all of its fabulous sunset glory was a perfect way to cap off an incredible day in the Pacific Northwest of the USA.
I came across a slew of small Kansas towns this past summer, but this one was wonderful and photogenic. Unfortunately, I can't remember its name. But I found this old Chrysler and couldn't resist.

In our earth-lab, a life form has existed randomly, thanks to the reaction of atoms of the ingredients which were already there, in the lab, for the creation of this life form. It has started to develop and expand on the earth, randomly. Later, after billions of years, it got conscious, randomly , but not all life forms have headed to the same direction. The evolution occurred according "the tree of life”.
Speculation:
Big bang has sealed the fate of our future by creating the atom based universe, like all the necessary ingredients were put in a beaker, in a chemical lab, to become the expected ( not randomly) chemical solution.
A life form is the expected result, depending of the time, of the existence and reaction of ingredients in a beaker.
A rather friendly Pheasant, taken in the gardens at Wentworth Woodhouse in November. The pheasants in the garden seemed a lot less timid than usual, so I was able to get close enough to capture this without changing to my longer lens.
Summer is winding down, and my yard is alive with pollinators. Butterflies are passing through everyday and the plants in my yard- like the butterfly bush- are a solution for their need for a tasty solution of sugary nectar. For 125 in 2025 #88 Solution
Normally I chase this ginger Tom away but as he is doing a fine job of keeping the birds off my cherry tree, I will give him a free pass until August 🤔😉

to this guy's place. a guy who did some very bad shit. in fact, in my opinion, he doesn't deserve to live.
whoa. that's a little extreme, isn't it?
and then after what he did, the guy says, you can have my gun when you pry it from my cold dead fingers. so I say, you know what? sounds like a good idea to me.

During a four day trip to North Carolina's Pisgah National Forest to photograph waterfalls and mountain sunsets with my brother John and Randy Sanger, we were frequently confronted with clear skies, making waterfall photography nearly impossible. My solution was to look for spring wildflowers.
Hi-tech, power tools and stuff may be way cool, but for certain tasks lo-tech solutions still work best, don't you think? :-)

We visited this impressive Abbey, which dates from the early 12th century, on our trip to the Cotswolds in early August.
We've visited Tewkesbury with our grandson for the re-enactment of the 1471 Battle of Tewkesbury - one of the battles of the the War of the Roses. The Abbey could be seen in the distance and it played it's part in the history of that battle, though we didn't have time to visit it then.

Another view of the Abbey is in the comment below. The tree you can partially see on the right, with a red and white tape round it ,was a Mulberry Tree. The tree was brimming with ripe fruit and the tape was there to stop the dropping fruit being trodden into the Abbey. I offered some berries by some people collecting them (whose fingers were turning dark red from the juice) - the berries were delicious!
