Nakoa posing in front of her doggie dining corner. Coincidentally, I've recently switched to a raw food diet for Nakoa. So this may as well be her farewell photo to her old bagged crunchies.

The Ioanna Bracelet features a shaded rainbow of gemstones ranging from deep blue to green to a honey yellow-orange. Petite drops of Sapphire, Tourmaline, and Citrine have been gently wrapped together to create an encrusted chain with handmade ballpins and curling headpins of fine 18K yellow gold wire. A toggle of solid 14k gold closes the bracelet where a finely faceted onion of lemon Yellow Topaz dangles. A sterling silver signature tag imprinted with "jlee" finishes off the piece. Just a touch of 7" in length (fits a 6-6.25" wrist perfectly).

A new addition to the menu, "The prawn who got creamed" , a sphaghetti fish with mushrooms, capsicum, shrimp all sauteed to a nice firmness with basil and alfredo sauce. It aint bad at all . But I personally preferred the Al pesto penne with shrimp we had at California Pizza Kitchen.. :)

This clock has a creepy 'grasshopper-fish' eating up time on the top of the curved disk. It's hard to see through the glass window but you can make out a reflection of the 'bug' on the top. Here is a youtube video about its genesis:

Wat Traimit is thought to date from the 13th century. The Golden Buddha image is about 900 years old and is cast in the Sukhothai style. It is believed to have been brought first to Ayutthaya.
When the Burmese were about to sack the city, it was covered in plaster to hide its value. Two centuries later, still in plaster, it was thought to be worth very little.
But in 1957, when the image was being moved to a new temple in Bangkok, it slipped from a crane and was left in the mud by workmen.
In the morning, a temple monk, who had dreamed that the statue was divinely inspired, went to see the Buddha image. Through a crack in the plaster he saw a glint of yellow, and discovered that the statue was pure gold... 5.5 tons of solid 18 carat gold!!!
