Solar Eclipse, Snowdonia 20/03/15 - I used my solar eclipse viewing glasses as a filter over the camera lens. The sun turned this blueish colour when a thin cloud covering passed in front of the sun for a few minutes.
Solar Eclipse 20/03/2015, Over a cloudy Leeds city centre.,not the very best quality as from my phone managed to get some views through gaps in the clouds.
Smiling Sun.
Friday morning eclipse, the eclipse reached 88% here in the UK. Views from Scout Rd on Winter Hill, Bolton Lancashire. It was cloudy at first and when the clouds moved we had a fantastic view of the eclipse as the moon covered the sun, The car park was full and so was the road... Bit of a party atmosphere as it went cooler and the light went. we all well enjoyed the experience of light to dark in two minutes and sudden drop in temperature.. Hope you all had the chance to see and feel it.
