From the design perspective, user journey mapping offers the first step toward the UX when it comes to structure and user flow. By comprehending the actions necessary to obtain the user from point A to suggest B, we are able to start to consider how you can optimize this journey.
Brand Research & Additional User Research
Building around the product discovery session, user personas, and journey mapping, our designers conduct additional user research and brand research. We glance at existing brand qualities to achieve an awareness from the right personality, tone, look, and sense of the applying. We have a much deeper dive in to the finish users to achieve more details about the subject making sensible design decisions. This sets a dark tone and enables us to know which elements you prioritized using the design. For instance, when we find that almost all the consumer demographic is 50 years old or older, we'll avoid certain elements of design like smaller sized text, thin lines, etc.
Prototyping & Conceptualization
Screen Shot 2016-07-18 at 10.03.42 AM
Then we begin the prototyping and conceptualization, which concentrates on the UX (structure) from the application. It determines the way the design will flow in one screen to a different, how users will navigate forward and back, etc. Frequently, the number of actions users have to take is complex, specifically in large apps with lots of features. The reason would be to simplify and streamline the consumer journey from point A to suggest B so the user could possibly get wherever they need using the smallest amount of effort.
Research & UI (Interface)
The UI concentrates on the design and style, polish, and refinement from the application: such things as color palettes, fonts, spacing of elements, icons, shades, whether or not to use flat design or skeuomorphism, and so forth. In this stage, we again do brand research to determine which is most fitting for that brand personality and tone.
Continuous Testing & Refinement
This isn’t one step inside the process by itself, once software development company constantly test, iterate, and refine throughout. During design we test on several devices and various platforms, and also have a number of people conduct user testing. This allows us uncover whether our assumptions about elements and style decisions have to be re-examined.
Development & Refinement
Designers use developers to “break up” the UI into pieces that may then besoftware development company
. Again, iteration and refinement is most of the process therefore we can make the very best consumer experience and many technically seem product possible. The objective of our integrated process would be to let us maintain this versatility and become adaptable to changes without having affected velocity.
Taking a built-in, user-centric design approach ensures that the) the merchandise has been designed for your users, particularly and b) we remain adaptable to alterations in objectives or project goals. Ultimately, this method promotes the introduction of functional, helpful items that add value for users making software development company lives a great deal simpler.

When one is in Caunes-Minervois, as we were yesterday, it is but a short drive to the next village of Rieux-Minervois, and the drive is indeed worth it, as this last village features not only an interesting Romanesque church, but a very rare one at that: a round church!
Round churches, as we know, were modeled after that of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem —and if we visit that one one day, we shall explain why it was made round. In spite of the famousness of the model, round churches are a rarity: almost all churches were built on the basis of the Roman “basilical” floor plan, i.e., a rectangle with one of more naves and a semi-circular niche at one end. Circular churches were more difficult to build and much less practical for distributing groups of people for the liturgical purposes: basically, one large group (the congregation) needed to be able to visually follow what a very small group (the celebrant[s]) was doing. I know of less than half a dozen such churches in the whole Western world.
In Rieux-Minervoix, the parish church dedicated to the Assumption was built between 1000 and 1050 and donated in 1096 by the archbishop of Narbonne to the chapter of canons of his cathedral. “Donating” a church, may I remind my readers, meant donating all the clerical revenue that came from the parish, in exchange for maintaining the church building and ensuring continuity of the opus Dei in that church.
Being circular makes the church of Rieux-Minervois one of very few, but the thing that makes it absolutely unique in the whole Christendom is that it is not truly circular, but made of a heptagonal (in reference to the Seven Pillars of Wisdom in the Book of Proverbs) rotunda, with a (pardon the mouthful) tetradecagonal ambulatory —meaning with 14 sides— around it. This unique general floor plan has been preserved, but unfortunately, and as is often the case, centuries did not pass without the church being otherwise severely altered, with added chapels, doors relocated, and so on.
The church was on the very first list of Historic Landmarks drawn up by Prosper Mérimée in 1840.
Some of those remarkable capitals only bear Corinthian-inspired, floral motifs. Doesn’t it feel to you like this one is unfinished, as there should be something in those small niches underneath the top leaves? I don’t think this piece was meant to have flat surfaces without any carving on them... God only knows what may have happened to cause this one to remain so!

Poser figure rendered in Bryce. Some images I produced using a mixture of Lightwave 3D, Bryce 3D and Poser software.
Poser is a 3D computer graphics software designed for creating and rendering animated characters and scenes. It was first developed by the company Fractal Design in the mid-1990s, and has since gone through several different owners, including MetaCreations, Curious Labs, Smith Micro, and most recently, Bondware.
Poser is known for its ability to create lifelike human and animal figures, and for its large library of pre-made 3D models and poses. It allows users to manipulate these models and poses to create custom animations and scenes, which can be rendered as still images or animated videos.
Over the years, Poser has evolved to include a wide range of features and tools, including improved character modeling and rigging, advanced lighting and shading options, and support for third-party plugins and add-ons.
Poser has been used for a variety of applications, including film and video production, game development, advertising, and digital art. It is particularly popular among independent animators and small studios who are looking for an affordable and flexible 3D animation solution.
Despite its popularity, Poser has also faced criticism over the years for its sometimes clunky interface and limited support for advanced features. However, the software continues to have a dedicated user base and is still actively developed and supported by its current owner, Bondware.

Blast from the past ... I discussed Pub interaction model at slashdot journal and jos social interface design forums way back in 2004SEP09.
Summary
Pub interaction model aids scanning of topic information. Is it good enough to copy existing models?
Message
In my many travels into SIC (Social interactive community) sites that I have noticed a re-occuring interaction model that takes advantage of everyday interaction models most would be familiar with. I call it the 'Pub interaction model'. It probably has some fancy technical name [0]. But for the sake of argument, Pub [1] will do.
What was the last time you went to a Pub (party, class or lunchroom are equally good alternatives)? Imagine walking into the Pub for the first time. Think of the questions you ask yourself as you enter the room?
- How do you choose which group you want to join?
- How do you strike up a conversation with complete newcomers?
- How do you splice a question into the discussion?
The list goes on. Can you see the similiarity between entering a Pub, finding a suitable group, topic and engauging in conversation AND choosing what group, topic to reply in a JOSSID forum? [2]
But how does this relate to software design and SID? [3] Well I actively look for 'Pub' like interaction models as a way to quickly choose what forum I might be able to interact. I can quickly scan the room visually (whos in the room, what topic groups are operating) and aurally (who is saying what) then dive in.
In terms of software lets look at some examples.
Applications
Email clients are a common example. In Thunderbird [4] and Outlook Express for example you can filter your inboxes (walk into the pub and label social groups), then scan the number of topics (listen to the conversation) to see number of emails. FogBUGZ [5] also uses the Pub model when showing a customer problem. Allowing the person(s) responsible to see the whole discussion at a glance (though in the past) to resolve a customer support issue.
Websites
Social interaction sites such as Slashdot or Perlmonks the Pub model I look for here is the slashdot front page [6] or Perlmonk Monastery gates [7]. Both mechanisms allow me to see what groups are discussing what threads and allowing me to make decisions.
Another example where this model is used is blogs (soap box sites). The example here is Monologue [8]. I can quickly scan the site with the Pub model to see if theres a worthy topic to read. There is no feedback on this site (hence the term soap box) but I can see the person talking, scan the topics and skip the noise [9].
But is copying existing models good enough?
'... a particular state of the neurones in the brain is more likely to be followed by another specific state than by a random state ...' [10].
Edward de Bono argues in his book, 'New thinking for the new millennium' [10], that patterns or paths that are built you are less likely to change.
Conclusion
'... the downside of patterns is that once we have set them up we are trapped by them ... we also need the ability to challenge these patterns from time to time in order to set up better patterns ...' [11]
This may be a new field of software development so avoid the trap of simply replacing existing social models, roles or modes of interaction. While you have the chance, don't be constrained by 'old' patterns or paths we observe. Experiment and develop better group interaction models instead. While I find the Pub model advantageous to use and software developer continue to implement them, are we are missing out on designing better social interactions instead of accepting some possibly inferior alternative(s)?
