So this is the Sugarloaf Point Lighthouse (1875).
Located at Seal Rocks - just a little to the north of Sydney.
Sugarloaf Point Lighthouse stands on a dramatic headland east of Seal Rocks village. Completed in 1875, it is the first lighthouse designed by colonial architect James Barnet and one of only two towers in Australia with an external stairway.
It was originally built to guide ships along the rocky coastline to the north of Sydney, after a number of incidents, including the shipwrecking of the SS Catterthun and the SS Rainbow.
Below the lighthouse are the Lighthouse Keepers’ quarters and outbuildings that have been refurbished to offer holiday accommodation for visitors.

This photo was my first attempt to process a Nikon (NEF) RAW file with Nikon software (Capture NX-D) before applying noise reduction in Topaz Denoise as a 16-bit TIFF file. Unfortunately, Topaz Denoise does not recognise edits made to Nikon RAW files, hence the necessity to save as a TIFF file. Further tweaks were then made in PS and Lr.
This image is Generated using Midjourney V8.1 alpha software then i process in photoshop.
Thank you for your visit and faves and comment.

Darckr
The Darckr Flickr Viewer is a webapp and a mashup based upon the flickr web rest apis.
Darckr allows to view Flickr content and helps in social life and picture management, by posting comments, or editing photo parameters.
For me, Darckr is an experimental platform to study the web2 languages.
Working is easier in beautiful surroundings...
Darckr uses ajax for continuous page preloading and streaming (here my own pictures sorted by interestingness according to Flickr), and the mootools javascript api.
The originality of Darckr is that the end user can freely customize his preferred viewing settings and save them on demand in cookies.
Ironically, this free software has become the mostly used of my programs ever, with more than 3000 thousand users of the full functionality,
several thousand pages viewed per day, and some 70000 api calls per day.
Still rising :-).
Darckr uses Ajax to interact with one's flickr account in ways not offered by the flickr web site itself.

The Skull Rock Nature Loop passes through a maze of spectacular rock formations and luxuriant washes. Rock in this area began as liquid molten deep below the earth's surface. Continuously heated by movements in the Earth's crust, this molten oozed upward and cooled while still below the surface. Subsequent surface layer erosion exposed the rock, a form of granite called Monzogranite.
This nature loop offers excellent views of the east valley of Pinto Basin and sport some diverse vegetation and wildlife provided by the many standing pools of water in the recesses of the rock formations.
Thanks for looking and as always, your views, comments, faves, and support are much appreciated!! Have a great week/weekend everyone :)

As a natural consequence of the ever more complex gadgets and services, the need for some kind of software assistant arose. Going by many names and varying in functions and intelligence, Personal AIs are now a natural part of every mans day to day life. Personal AIs takes care of transactions, shopping, booking and household chores. Some people find it amusing to give their AIs personality and treat them as pets, others just use them as tools.
Personal AIs can transfer small parts of their core to machines in order to carry out various tasks. Shells are robotic machines that come in thousands of variants. Most Shells have their own governing AIs but they can also merge with Personal AIs and transfer their subroutines to them. Not many people can afford to choose other than the cheapest versions, but theoretically an AI can inhabit any Shell. Creative ways of using shells can of course be shared and downloaded by the AIs.
The Yogamabara Mechanization M-400 Multi-Purpose Shell is a commonly used type of shell. It’s very fast and agile. It gives the host AI the ability to follow it’s client around any ground based environment and has a full range of standard tools, like laser cutter, hydro spanners and standard data sockets to name a few. It’s animal-like form gives it personality and this has made Yogamabara one of the biggest manufacturers of Personal AI Shells.
Get yours today! Let your personal AI schedule a meeting and a free* testrun!
* Your AI will be analyzed and mined for suspicious behaviour, transactions and interactions.

My technique is alway the same:
Three exposures -2EV, 0, +2EV and then temperature adjustement using Lightroom and layering with luminosity mask using photoshop. Removal of distracting stuff with the stamp tool or patch tool. High pass filter to enhance details. Then saturation, contrast selectively control, dodge and burn where need...
DRI stand for Dynamic Range Increase. Three RAW files are used to achieve this. Rather than using a software like Photomatix for instance, I simply use mask to blend, my own way, the light, dark and normal shot with Photoshop and Lightroom.. To me, It looks more natural than the usual HDR treatment that I would normally applied.

Dodge and burn là où requis...

I met Sean www.flickr.com/photos/dacoach89/ up in Marin right after sunrise a couple weeks back. I was so excited to see the bunkers in morning light and I'm just as excited to see them at sunset. Naturally the wind was howling on this exposed cliff hundreds of feet above the rugged Pacific Coast so please excuse the foreground. The marine layer also makes it difficult to find the horizon line but everything read level.
In the distance you can see Muir Beach's cove, one of the prettiest beaches ever and home to some of the craziest parties in the 60s. It's funny going to a place littered with million dollar homes knowing it was once a location for Dead shows--damn the Bay had to be ridiculous back then. John Muir would have been proud.
Even further you can see Stinson Beach's cove--another spectacular spot before Highway 1 gets nice and lonely--the way I'd love to see all of California, if even for a day. Stinson Beach is also home to the amazing climbing area, Mickey's Beach, top notch beach bouldering--tough to beat!
All in all the best morning I've had with a camera and there's still plenty more to share.

Wow!! I took a few days away from the computer and came back to discover this photo of Catwoman made it onto Flickr's Explore page. Thank you all for the comments and faves, everyone!!
Here's another photo from that whole software mess-up a year ago that deleted most of my Flickr library.
I took this while I was in school at the International Academy of Design and Technology in Tampa. I'm pretty sure it was taken for my Introduction to Lighting class. I got a good grade for the series, and really had a great time. It's interesting too... I learned a lot about portrait lighting from this project. :-)
