i found this coke light can some months ago on the roof of an industrial building and took it with me as a prop for photography. didn't use it but gonna keep it. it says on the bottom of the can best before october 1993, so it's older than me lol. stay young and drink something better - like a fresh juice
just a little trip with everyone. apart from the fact that Dane was attacked by a parrot and also had to pay everything, it was so nice to be away from home again - don't worry my dears. His injuries are only minor, a few scratches! I got a sunburn by the way, forget Dane and have pity on me!♥

(this antique sign is in the "Almost Heaven" cafe and soda fountain in historic downtown Brenham, Texas).We visited there April 2011 with Richard and Loretta, Donna and Bill on our wildflower trip. Bill loves 'pepper' as do I.
Soon as I threw the baby bottle away (out a train window on the way to Fort Worth) mom and grandma started giving me Dr. Pepper ! Grandma 'believed' in drinking it 10, 2 and 4 as almost a health ritual .. "It's made with prune juice you know" she would say. Lot of fine memories out on her porch swing with "the Dr".and her.LOL. Remember when their commercials included the jingle "when you drink a Dr. Pepper, you drink a 'bite to eat' "?
I didn't realize it at first but this model actually looks like old pictures of my mom in her twenties..reddish hair and face. She was a bit chubby as a teen and later as an adult, but, not about the time she was married...I think she was probably a 'stunner' and, who knows..she MIGHT have posed for this, her favorite non-alcoholic beverage ! HA, HA
One of 3 new limited run Mountain dew flavors as part of their DEWmocracy promotion. This flavor is wild berry and isn't too different than the taco bell exclusive "baja blast" in my opinion.

This image dates from October 1963. It shows a young lad named Patrick (no further details), possibly tucking into a Plumrose hot dog. Patrick seems to be looking rather quizzically at the camera. I'll let you guess whether that's because he's not enamoured of the hot dog or finds his picture being by taken by a stranger (my Dad) a bit upsetting.
The benevolent overseer manning the soft drinks and tombola stall and looking on, is my mother, Anna. The event was the annual British Army fete and was being held on the hockey pitch which doubled as the training ground for the Army's guard dogs.
The concrete structure filling most of the background is Jubilee Buildings, the married quarters in Sham Shui Po Barracks. Built in the 1920s, the barracks were used by the Japanese as a PoW camp for British, Indian and Canadian prisoners during their occupation of Hong Kong in WWII.
Immediately on the other side of the building from the above perspective was a small road that circled the building. On the other side of the road was Hong Kong harbour. I still remember standing on that road in the eye of a typhoon, watching an abandoned and drifting fishing boat bouncing along the sea wall before we retreated back into the building.
Today, the harbour is some 750m further away following various reclamation projects, and the entire barracks site has gone, some of it being turned into Sham Shui Po Park.
Found this on Friday. Did not realize they were coming out with it. It's pretty good. It is exactly like a cross between Diet Pepsi Vanilla and Diet Pepsi Wild Cherry.

There were nearly fifty monkeys near the garbage bins picking out all the cans. They would subsequently, tear the can in half by biting threw the tin and dip their fingers into the cola syrup. It was amazing to watch.

Croatian Pipi juice get name from Swedish children book Pippi Longstocking. Pipi have taste similar like Fanta. This is first time that we can see Pipi juice in can, in the past factory produced in plastic bottles or glass.
P.s. I used name in my title from singer Geoff Tate from metal band Queensrÿche. I like to joke always lol ;D. I believe that Geoff Tate never heard about Pipi juice lol =).

Following on from McDonalds drink cup earlier on it's time for the real thing, which was abandoned on my favorite bridge at Poplar DLR station.
I was a bit loaded up with camera gear (I had the D800 as well as the DF on me at the time) so this was a bit awkward to photograph. It's not quite as sharp as I'd like, but I do like the way the background has come out.
