The Damon blue was the target species in the Rhön Biosphere Reserve in Bavaria, Germany. Very happy that we found the species and were able to photograph it nicely.

4x5 TMY in Finol,
Lobotype onto Arches Platine.
Digital print negative.
Sensitiser (more specific than usual) for two prints 20x26cm
Ammonium ferric oxalate 40% 1,5ml
Tartaric acid 50% 8 drops
Tween 10% 3 drops
Sodium dichromate for clean whites 0,5% 3 drops
Sodium tungstate for warm and soft tones 40% 5 drops
AgNO3 15% 1,5ml.
Exposure for both prints 3:15 mins.
Developer slightly acidified tap water 3 mins, the prints turn much darker.
While clearing in Citric acid 0,5% the prints turn a little brighter.
The print below is toned with Palladium (7th print in 250ml toner) one and a half minute prior to fixing.
Both are fixed in ATS acidic fixer 1+10 four minutes.

Esta flor es de un árbol del cole de Inés. Fuimos a ver la actuación del día de Sant Josep y le dije a Jordi que me cogiera una y aquí está. La tengo tal cual en mi mesa de trabajo. No sé su nombre, pero es preciosa. Siempre tengo mi mesa llena de flores !

A warm Summer's rain patters along my brow. The tumultuous unknown awaits me once more. And deep down, I know I must go there. "What would it be like to explore the raindrops?," I mutter with uncertainty. I focus my gaze on the flowers before me. A single drop catches my eye. As my world spins upside down, I enter a strange landscape. Petrichor fills my lungs. Hovering along the surface of each petal, the drops seem to float from underneath and into the air. As if the petals themselves are sweating their life blood. Each drop like an orb containing its own inner world. A warm breeze ushers a shaft of light as the rain comes to an end. I close my eyes as the light washes joy into my soul. As each drop fades away, where do they go from here? Where do I go from here?
Continuing the adventure into nature. Slowly coming back and look forward to catching up with my Flickr friends. Happy monochrome bokeh Thursday!
The Dusky Large Blue butterfly feeds on a Great Burnet flower. The Great Burnet is crucial to the butterfly's life cycle for egg-laying and initial feeding. The caterpillars are later taken by Myrmica ants, mimicking their chemical signals, and continue developing in the ant nests until they emerge as adults.

A small heron that is widespread and common across much of Africa, Asia, and Australia. Notably variable plumage across its range, but small size and overall gray color separates it from most other herons and bitterns. Juvenile streakier below than adult, and is much smaller and more slender, with a thinner, straighter bill, than juvenile Black-crowned Night-Heron, with long streaks on the chest and spotting mostly restricted to the wings (though more extensive in African populations). Often but not always solitary, found standing quietly around wetland habitats such as marshes, agricultural fields, rivers, and lakes.habitats such as marshes, agricultural fields, rivers, and lakes. He was standing there on his perch in the stream, just enjoying the sun. I admired the soft tones of his feathers and the calmness of his being.

Estos son los caminos por los que paseo a diario, si puedo y tengo tiempo una hora al día. Pienso, organizo mis trabajos mentalmente, saco mis ideas, recojo flores, disfruto de la naturaleza y hago un poquito de ejercicio. Este está a 5 minutos de mi casa.
