A still autumn evening on the shore of Lake Kanawaukee, NY.
"O for a soft and gentle wind!"
I heard a fair one cry:
But give to me the snoring breeze
And white waves heaving high;
And white waves heaving high, my lads,
The good ship tight and free—
The world of waters is our home,
And merry men are we.
- Sea Song, Allan Cunningham (1784–1842)

Every kiss is a door
Can I knock on yours, can we knock a little more
If a touch is a key
Keep on twisting, keep unlocking, keep on turning me
Let me in
I wanna be closer to you, let you under my skin
If I let you in
You gotta be careful with it, let me tell you again, hey
Love so soft, you ain't had nothing softer
Break it then you buy it and it's sure gonna cost ya
Love so soft that you can't rub off
You gon' love it if you try it, got you hooked, now you're caught up
Love so soft, so soft
Meaning to post a few summer shots that I have but too busy finding autumn colours. The last few days have been quite windy leaving the trees bare. Funny how quick the autumn colours comes and goes. I'm still waiting for a misty morning.
A rose in our back yard. Taken with a vintage Canon FD 55mm f1.2 SSC lens on my DSLR. Love this lens - apparently it has radioactive glass.
