The fur is Cleo's and the mouse is Cleo's too. I took this photo for the Happy Caturday theme "Fur". Cleo was asleep and when she is sleeping I can put on her fur whatever I want as long as I don't touch her head or tail.:) Happy Caturday !

Macro Monday theme "Spiral". This example of a spiral occurring in nature was captured with a Lensbaby Velvet 85 lens.
Camellia is a genus of flowering plants in the family Theaceae. Camellias are evergreen shrubs or small trees up to 20 m tall. They are found in eastern and southern Asia, from the Himalayas east to Japan and Indonesia. There are about 300 species and around 3,000 hybrids. Their flowers are usually large and conspicuous, one to 12 cm in diameter, with five to nine petals in naturally occurring species of camellias. The colors of the flowers vary from white through pink colors to red. Of economic importance in East Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Indian subcontinent, leaves of C. sinensis are processed to create the popular beverage tea. The ornamental C. japonica, C. sasanqua and their hybrids are the source of hundreds of garden cultivars. C. oleifera produces tea seed oil, used in cooking and cosmetics. The various species of camellia plants are generally well-adapted to acid soils rich in humus, and most species do not grow well on chalky soil or other calcium-rich soils. Most species of camellias also require a large amount of water, either from natural rainfall or from irrigation, and the plants will not tolerate droughts. However, some of the more unusual camellias – typically species from karst soils in Vietnam – can grow without too much water. 26152
Here is another one of the captures showing Tofu on his fluffy blanket, The capture was part of a series of photos I took in the hope of getting one of a sleeping Tofu but he only fell asleep when he was allowed to cuddle his teddy bear. :) The above capture didn't really meet the brief but is too cute to be discarded and so I post it today. I add another photo of the series in the comments which may not be flattering but it's quite adorable too. :)

Yet another one of those spontaneous shots where you see something that takes your fancy and start desperately hoping to find somewhere to pull in. This wasn't the view that I stopped for but in taking that shot just a little bit of light struck the water to my left so I grabbed it quickly.

#MacroMondays - #Pastel
This was my first try to shoot a macro with my regular Sigma 50mm 1.4 and a macro intermediate ring. The sharpness is, off course, far away from my Sigma 105 2.8 macro lense but what is exciting me is how smooth and soft that shot became. For that amout of depth I needed to stack 22 images.
Das ist mein erster Versuch mit meinem normalen Sigma 50mm 1.4 und einem Makro Zwischenring zu fotografieren. Die Schärfe ist natürlich nicht so wie mit dem Sigma 105mm Makroobjektiv, doch mich begeistert wie weich die Aufnahme geworden ist. Um diese Tiefenschärfe zu erreichen musste ich allerdings 22 Fotos machen.
